How to Change Officers in Ready or Not
Officers will need to be swapped out if they experience high levels of stress or if players simply want to try a new officer trait. As such, players can swap officers in Ready or Not by holding Tab/Touch Pad in the Police Headquarters to open up the tablet, which allows players to view their Team Roster. From here, click any of the 4 characters in the center of the screen, noted by their loadouts. After clicking any of these officers, they will be in the Select An Officer screen, where all they have to do now is pick an off-duty officer in their roster to replace the currently active officer.
Here's a brief overview of what to do:
- Hold Tab (Keyboard) or Touch Pad (Controller) to open up the tablet
- Click either Officers 1, 2, 3, or 4 from the active roster
- Click an off-duty officer from the bottom roster
All this does is allow for an officer to go off duty so that players can experience new officer traits, also known as Special Qualifications. If players have duplicate traits that they do not want, then they can change an officer by clicking their profile at the bottom of the tablet screen and hitting the Fire button. This will free the officer slot where players can select a new officer with 3 randomized traits to pick from.
