Leviathan is part of the Dark Waters DLC for Ready or Not, and it takes the LSPD SWAT team to an oil rig that's been taken over by terrorists. The map and its layout can be a little intimidating, but with the right tactics, players can easily complete this mission without any casualties.
This guide covers all the main and soft objectives for Ready or Not's Leviathan mission, as well as some general recommendations on what to do, what to bring, and how to clear this mission perfectly.
Ready or Not: 12 Tips and Tricks for Beginners
To succeed in Ready or Not, you need to be alert at all times.
Ready or Not Leviathan Objectives
- Bring Order to Chaos
- Rescue All Civilians
- Terminate the Live Stream
The Bring Order to Chaos objective in Ready or Not simply means that you need to neutralize all armed suspects in the mission. You can do this with any loadout, but if you want to get an S-rank for this mission (or pretty much every other mission in Ready or Not), you need to use non-lethal weapons.
Apart from taking down all suspects, you also need to rescue every civilian and stop the ongoing live stream on the oil rig. Keep in mind that the suspects in Leviathan are disguised as civilians — keep your trigger finger in check and make sure that the person you're looking at is holding a gun before you pull the trigger.
Ready or Not: Leviathan Live Stream Location
You can stop the live stream on Leviathan by interacting with a laptop. The location of this laptop changes every time you start the mission, but you can often find it in any room where there are civilian hostages. Look around for a laptop and a phone mounted on a stand.
Ready or Not: Leviathan Soft Objectives
There's one soft objective in Leviathan, and that's to shut down the rig's overheating drill. You can do this by going to the control room above the drill room and hitting the red button on one of the terminals. You'll know you're looking at the right terminal if it has a blinking screen that says the drill is overheating.
There are multiple terminal locations, but the one in the drill control room always seems to be active. If it's not, look for similar-looking terminals and press the buttons on them.
The drill control room is very close to the Helipad starting point. Look for the door in one of the images above.
Ready or Not: Leviathan Keycard
Inside the third room in the dorms section of the oil rig is a keycard lying on a table. To use it, head to the Fire Pumps room on the lower deck (the room filled with canisters) and interact with the terminal there. This will reveal a chat log containing messages from the terrorist group that infiltrated the oil rig.
This is not important to the mission, and you can skip this step completely.
How to S-Rank Leviathan in Ready or Not
Full heavy armor with steel plates is highly recommended.
The best non-lethal loadout in RoN makes heavy use of CS Gas to subdue suspects without seriously harming them. If you want to get an S-rank on Leviathan. Bring CS Gas grenades and either the VPL or TPL pepperball guns.
The Beanbag Shotgun is also a good non-lethal option, but since there are plenty of civilians on this level, bringing a pepperball gun might be the better play. Suspects won't hesitate to hide behind civilians, and when they do, you can still subdue them without injuring civvies by shooting pepperballs at the floor.
