Ready or Not has received a new update for September 2025, bringing the game to version 1.000.009. Ready or Not players should see an improved experience due to the number of bugs and gameplay issues that this patch has fixed.
Ready or Not has been releasing updates regularly to help iron out some of the issues players have been experiencing with the game. While Ready or Not has faced controversy for a few reasons, including PC players being upset about changes made for the console release, it's nonetheless seen a great deal of success.
Ready or Not Releases Major Update for July 2025
Ready or Not releases a major update for the PC edition, introducing several notable features amid the ongoing censorship controversy.
Now a new Ready or Not update has launched in the form of Los Suenos Stories Patch 3. While it's smaller than the August Ready or Not update, the game has nonetheless seen over 100 issues fixed, and a few new options for players to make use of. Ready or Not now supports keyboard and mouse on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, improved Steam Deck support, and made several modding improvements. Arrest animations are more seamless when starting and ending the interaction, and animation problems with SWAT members, restrained bots, and third-person reload animations have all been fixed.
A number of issues that may have impacted players' gameplay experience have also been amended. This includes friendly fire penalties incorrectly going into effect when hitting SWAT members, SWAT ignoring orders depending on where the player was looking when issuing them, shotgun wielders getting stuck grabbing ammo from crates, suspects and civilians getting stuck out of bounds, and more. A number of visual bugs across different levels have been fixed, and over a dozen UI problems have been corrected. Some of these fixes have resolved problems that would cause the game to crash, which will likely be greatly appreciated by players.
Since Ready or Not's console launch in July, the game has been seeing monthly updates fixing issues discovered in the game. At this time, VOID Interactive hasn't announced if there will be another patch arriving in October. While players would certainly prefer that these bugs had not marred the experience to begin with, the dedication to fixing them seems to be putting the game on the right track. Ready or Not recently eclipsed 3 million players, so despite the complaints of Ready or Not being censored for consoles, it seems that the move to bring the game to more platforms has paid off for developer VOID Interactive.
