Realm of Ink is a beautiful game featuring a diverse cast inspired by the chinese mythos. It features a very similar gameplay loop to Hades, and other roguelike games, and is quite polished despite being in early access.
The game has a variety of mechanics that help set it apart compared to its competitors, one of which are Inkpets, cute creatures that fight alongside you as you try to fight your way free of the shackles of fate and destiny.

How to Increase Inkpet Level in Realm of Ink
The great thing about your Inkpet is that it isn't stagnant. In fact, players can level up their Inkpet as they go through more and more runs and obtain more resources. Increasing your pet's level increases its overall stats, making life easier for you. Your Inkpet, Momo, has multiple forms that change during each run depending on which Ink gems you pick up. Increasing Momo's level increases the level of all its forms as well.
To increase the level of Momo, players need to feed it Dumplings in the Pet's Playground, an area that unlocks after one or two attempts of trying to leave this realm behind. Once unlocked, players can find the Pet's Playground on the first floor of the hub area, where they can interact with Momo by feeding him any dumplings they have, and check their pet's different forms.
Feeding Momo will increase its size temporarily in the hub area. This is purely cosmetic, and the change will revert once the player starts their run.
Best Games With Almost Infinite Replayability
Some games are meant to be played once, others are meant to be played forever. These titles are infinitely replayable.
How to Find & Use Dumplings in Realm of Ink
Dumplings are fairly rare resources in the Realm of Ink, and finding them can be tough. However, all players need to do if they want more dumplings, is to go through the world more times. The more runs you complete, or attempt to complete, the more dumplings you'll get.
Keep in mind that dumplings only drop from bosses, so if you reach a point where you think your character won't be able to progress past a biome and defeat the next boss, restart the run. Grinding can be difficult at times, but the wide build variety in the game makes it easier. After finishing a run, you can go to the pet playground in the hub and feed Momo its hard-earned dumplings.
