A bizarre glitch in Red Dead Online has been found, which gives players a bounty for dancing at other gamers. There are some hilarious ways to die in Red Dead Online, and this new discovery definitely falls into that category.

Red Dead Online has had some truly strange glitches emerge over the years. There was a Red Dead Online glitch that made players hogtie themselves, which more than anything just looked odd. It's not like there have been any massive game-breaking bugs for Red Dead Online - any that might have existed were not well documented, and would have been removed by Rockstar a long time ago. At this point, many of these glitches only add to the experience. Sure, it might be frustrating in the moment for a player to get killed for dancing, but looking back it's definitely funnier than anything else.

Redditor ZealousidealAd7533 posted the strange footage, in which they receive a bounty for dancing in front of another player. They're instantly declared an outlaw by Red Dead Online, with the justification for the bounty described as "Disturbing the peace." What's worse, is no attempt is actually made to arrest the player. The entire town of Tumbleweed instantly opens fire, sentencing this gamer to death for daring to dance. No one else in the comments of this Red Dead Online thread could make any sense as to why the town opened fire, either, so it remains a total mystery how the glitch occurred.

While Red Dead Online allows gamers to play as a bounty hunter, this player was almost certainly shocked to find themselves playing the role of the hunted in this scenario. It's unclear if they managed to escape the dancing witch hunt, as the clip cuts off prior to its conclusion. However, the situation definitely looks dire.

Any glitches that remain in Red Dead Online are very unlikely to be fixed at this point. Rockstar has abandoned Red Dead Online, and it would probably take something truly game-breaking being found for the studio to turn its attention back to its Western title. Even the game's current influx of hackers hasn't yet attracted the attention of Rockstar, despite it being borderline unplayable for a lot of gamers. The situation has even reached a point where Red Dead Online players are even sharing clever ways to deal with hackers in the game, since Rockstar itself isn't banning them.

Red Dead Online is currently available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
