Red Dead Online players can currently grab a new community-inspired outfit free of charge, and reap the benefits of big Bounty Hunter bonuses. Players need to act fast, though, as these Red Dead Online bonuses are only available through September 1.
It's always good to see Rockstar acknowledge Red Dead Online. Although it hasn't received the same level of attention from the developer as the wildly successful Grand Theft Auto Online, it still retains a dedicated online community. It was very surprising to see Rockstar release four brand-new missions for Red Dead Online last month, considering support for the game has largely been minor for a few years now.
After Playing Red Dead Redemption 2, I Realized Grand Theft Auto 6 Has a Winning Formula in Front of Them
Grand Theft Auto 6 potentially has a winning formula ahead thanks to Red Dead Redemption 2's blueprint.
Red Dead Online Players Have a Few More Days to Get Bounty Hunter Bonuses and a Free Outfit
Until September 1, players can enjoy 3x RDO$ and XP on Regular Bounties in Red Dead Online, and 2x Gold, RDO$, and XP on Legendary and Infamous Bounty Missions. This also includes 2x RDO$ and XP on the Featured Series, which is currently the Hardcore Saint Denis Series. Players who complete three Daily Challenges between now and September 1 will unlock the Scheme emote, while anyone who ranks up five times as a Bounty Hunter during that same time period will receive the white Menasco Hat.
There's also a free Red Dead Online outfit to claim, too. Described by Rockstar as emulating "the hardened look of the West's most relentless Bounty Hunters," it's a community-inspired outfit, with specific inspiration drawn from a user on the r/reddeadfashion subreddit. The items making up the outfit can all be claimed from the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalog.
Although it has been clear for a few years that Red Dead Online development is largely winding down, hopefully, Rockstar will continue to support it in some capacity. There's nothing quite like it on the market, and despite releasing almost seven years ago, no competitor has managed to capture its remarkable level of detail. Even with the studio's focus understandably being on Grand Theft Auto 6, it would be a shame to see Red Dead Online slowly disappear.
