This feat coincides with the action-adventure game recently dropping to its lowest-ever price on Valve's platform. Since January 23, Red Dead Redemption 2 has been selling for 14.99 USD at a 75% discount. This special price is part of an ongoing Steam sale on several Rockstar-published titles and can be utilized until February 6, 2025, at 10AM PT. Interestingly, the third-person shooter also benefited majorly when its Xbox port received a slashed price during Black Friday 2024.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Receives Player Count Boost Due to Steam Sale
It's worth noting that this isn't the first time a price drop on Steam has enabled Red Dead Redemption 2's player numbers to reach a new peak.
