There are various ways to find ammo fast in Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare DLC. The primary way of finding ammo in the game is by completing various activities like securing a settlement/town from a zombie attack or completing Undead Missions.

However, here are other effective ways to keep your guns locked and loaded with ammo so you're prepared to face any threat this game throws at you.

Loot Zombie Corpses

After killing off zombies, make sure to loot them after clearing an area of them. Lootable zombie corpses are marked with an "X" symbol on the mini-map. So simply approach them and loot their corpse to find ammo for your guns.

Not all zombie corpses will give you ammo and most may not even contain anything. However, there's still a 50-50 chance to get ammo from them, so always loot every zombie's corpse to get ammo quickly in Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare.
