Players can find many safehouses while exploring the town of Redfall. These safehouses are an excellent place to regroup and restock on supplies before returning to the open world. Unlocking each one also gives the player access to new side missions. Completing enough safehouse side missions lets players hunt down the area's Vampire Underboss. Defeating these underbosses gives the player Underboss Skulls which are needed to fight the main Vampire God bosses.
Once players have reached the second area called Burial Point, there are a whole new set of safehouses to unlock. Most safehouses in this area require finding a separate key to start a generator. Follow these steps to find the generator key and unlock the Chickering Safehouse.
Safehouse Location
The Chickering safehouse is located to the east of the Maritime Center and to the south of the Chickering Church. The safehouse door is on the side of a small building.
Turn around from the door and follow the yellow cable from the powered-down UV lights. The cable will guide players over a wall between two park benches. Jump the wall and continue following the cable until it veers to the right and connects to the generator.
Key Location
The Chickering Generator key is located in the building the generator is placed in front of. The building may have a group of Bellwether mercenaries inside or patrolling outside. Open the door to the left of the generator carefully. A Bellwether turret will be pointed right at the entrance. Peek around the door to take it out without receiving any damage. There are also two tripwire mines placed in the room to prevent players from entering. These can be disarmed by using rewire tools. If the player does not have any in their inventory, they must jump over them to avoid triggering an explosion.
The Chickering Safehouse Generator Key is on the desk across from the entrance. Players can also crouch behind the desk and use a rewire tool on a large red security button hidden underneath it. Follow the bright red cable to the right of the desk to see a newly unlocked door. Enter this bathroom and players can loot some weapons from a stack of Bellwether bags. With the key and some new weapons in hand, players can return out front of the building and power up the Chickering Neighborhood generator.
