Rematch is quite the departure from Sloclap's previous titles, Sifu and Absolver. While the last two games were focused on combat, Rematch will see players join up with four other players and step onto the soccer pitch. With each player controlling just one member of the team, the game requires communication among teammates and expert skill to best your opponent. This isn't a super-serious soccer game, though. What Time and Date Does Rematch Release?

Rematch will be released on Thursday, June 19, 2025, for those purchasing the standard edition, and Monday, June 16, 2025, for those who pre-order the Pro or Elite editions of the game.

According to a post on the official Discord server, the game will release at 3:00 A.M. Pacific Time, 6:00 A.M. Eastern Time, and 11:00 A.M. British Summer Time for both the early access and full release of the game. The table below helps convert the release time for different regions around the world.

With Rematch being mainly a multiplayer game, the servers will go online at the same exact time around the world for all players. This means that some regions, such as Europe and Asia, are more likely to be awake and ready to play the game as soon as the servers go live, compared to those on the West Coast of North America.

What Platforms Will Rematch Be Available On?

Rematch has currently been confirmed for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Nothing has been announced regarding a Switch 2, PS4, Xbox One, or original Nintendo Switch release at the time of writing.

PC players will have the option of choosing to use either a controller or a keyboard and mouse, depending on whether they'd prefer an advantage with shooting accuracy or better control over the movement of their player.

There's some added good news for Game Pass subscribers, too, as it has been confirmed that Rematch is coming to both Xbox and PC Game Pass on its standard release date of June 19. The game will release at the same time on Game Pass as it will if players purchase a standard edition copy of the game.
