REPO is an intense horror game where you and your team dive headfirst into terrifying locations. Your mission is to grab valuable loot, get it to the extraction point, and survive the monsters that lurk in the shadows. Even though it seems simple, things can often get stressful, especially as you climb through the levels in REPO. Sometimes, you just need to hit pause, save your game, and come back refreshed. How To Save Your Game in REPO

Saving your progress in REPO is automatic – the game handles it for you whenever you hit a checkpoint. These checkpoints are always at the beginning of a new level. So, let's say you've fought your way to level four, successfully extracted loot twice in REPO, but now you need to call it a night. You can head back to the Main Menu, and the game will bring you back to the very start of level four when you're ready to jump in again.

Once you've cleared a level or location in REPO, your next step is to deliver your precious loot to the Extraction Point. From there, you'll need to get into the truck and signal to the Taxman that it's time to head to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can take care of any shopping you need to do. When you're ready to move on, you use that same button to travel to your next terrifying location.

After you've left the Service Station and arrived at your next assignment, it's safe to exit to the main menu or quit the game entirely. The next time you or the host (if someone else started the game) fires up REPO, you can jump right back in as usual. However, if all players in a game die, the save file is deleted.

If you're playing in multiplayer, the host is the one who needs to exit the game at this safe point for the save to work correctly for everyone. When the host quits, all other players will be kicked out too.

Can You Manually Save Your Game in REPO?

At the time of writing, REPO doesn't offer a traditional manual save option. If you want to have some control over when your game saves, your best bet is to push through and complete your current level to reach the next automatic checkpoint. Alternatively, if you've just started a new level, or you're currently browsing the wares in the Service Station, you can safely exit the game knowing your progress up to that point will be saved.
