Few things are scarier in R.E.P.O. Than dropping a valuable and losing all the money that could have been, but even fewer things are scarier than the most terrifying monsters in R.E.P.O. That will disrupt the run of a level and descend things into chaos as players desperately try to escape certain death from monsters that will truly put the fear of God into any robot.

REPO: All Guns & How To Get Them

REPO has several different weapons, and here, you'll find a list of all guns and instructions on how to obtain them.

Some truly scary monsters in R.E.P.O. Will cause quite the concern for players as they try and seek out valuables, and there’s an abundance of them to be fearful of as players navigate corridors and sneak through levels while trying to avoid these deadly creatures.

7 Headman

The Floating Head that Snaps and Bites

  • Health: 250
  • Damage: 50

The Headman is a literal floating head with sunken eyes that will float across the halls in search of a player that it can attack. While it’s in its searching mode, it will make occasional bite sounds, preparing its jaw for a vicious nibble of robot flesh. It’s a scary monster in its design and its aggression.

The Headman’s entire purpose is to find players and chase them down, and even if players are hiding under tables, the Headman will try and get a quick nibble by reaching below, but they do lose interest rather fast, just try to avoid its gaze and definitely do not shine a flashlight on it.

6 Chef

A Grinning Frog That Throws Sharp Knives

  • Health: 250
  • Damage: 10 p/tick

The Chef is a frog that loves to smile and seemingly loves to chop up robots for a meal. This is an enemy that looks terrifying, and that creepy factor never goes away. The intense grin of large gums and misaligned teeth and the glowing eyes of this frog will haunt players, especially as it leaps towards them with its bloodied knives ready for a new dish.

All REPO Monsters & How To Deal With Them

Knowing all of the monsters in REPO, as well as how to deal with them once encountered, is key to surviving this horror game.

The Chef is unpredictable in its attacks, as it winds up for a leap before it swings at players violently, and while it is pretty funny to see it ragdoll around if it misses players, it’s still something that shouldn’t be underestimated, and it's definitely one of the creepiest enemies.

5 Shadow Child

A Terrifying Slender Figure Who Yoinks Players

  • Health: 100
  • Damage: 30

The Shadow Child just wants to play, but its ideas of playtime aren’t exactly going to be fun for robots within its view. This is a monster that will teleport around players and giggle in an effort to get them to look at it, but if they do gaze upon it for too long, then the Shadow Child is going to throw the player across the room for 30 damage with a funny yet creepy yoink.

The Shadow Child doesn’t linger for too long if it's not getting attention, so just try to avoid it. It’s not a creature that players are going to want to look at, as the many arms of the creature, and the shadowy slender body with its baby face makes for true nightmare fuel.

4 Upscream

A Humanoid Spider That Crawls, Jumps, and Screams

  • Health: 50
  • Damage: 10

While the Upscream isn’t the most deadly, those who have a fear of spiders will certainly not want to leave the ship to encounter this freaky thing. The Upscream is a humanoid spider that crawls around like a bug, searching out players so that it can jump on them and scream at them to hurl them back into walls and objects to prove they’re living a nightmare.

The Upscream doesn’t have a lot of health, so it can be easily killed, but when there are multiple Upscreams, nowhere is safe, for these monsters can crawl into hiding spots and jump up to high areas so that players are in constant trouble around them.

3 Reaper

A Slow-Moving and Deaf Monster with Scissor Hands

  • Health: 250
  • Damage: 10

The Reaper looks utterly creepy and devoid of any hope for a good life. It’s a creature that seems like its built of hay, and it will stumble through hallways in search of enemies for it to rage out on with its slashing scissors and speeds that pick up when entangled in a raging fit for the robots that dare look upon its presence.

REPO Items
REPO: All Items & How to Use Them

The store in REPO offers many items, including weapons and upgrades. Here's a list of all items and instructions on how to use them.

1

The Reaper is completely deaf, so players do not need to worry about sound, but they do need to worry about sight. The Reaper doesn’t have the sharpest eyes but if you get too close, this creature will thrash towards players with its sharp hands to slash them in a whirlwind of wild swings that will surely kill low-health players who can’t escape.

2 Clown

A Giggling Creature with a Laser Beam on the Nose

  • Health: 250
  • Damage: 30-70

Clowns can be very scary indeed, and that’s certainly the case for the Clown in R.E.P.O. This monster doesn’t resemble a clown much other than its laughter and squeaky shoes, and instead, it resembles an unnatural alien killer thanks to its deformed posture and the fact that it has a nose that acts as a powerful laser beam.

The Clown is extremely strong with its close-range kicks and its hurling laser, but it’s easily avoided due to its slow speeds. Either way, this is nightmare-incarnate, as who wants to deal with a clown that looks like… that?

1 Robe

A Fast-Moving and Deadly Silent Entity

  • Health: 250
  • Damage: 50-100

The Robe is easily one of the scariest monsters in R.E.P.O., and there’s a good reason for that. The design of a monster shrouded in a black cloak, like a shadow, and a white face almost appears like a demonic nun. The Robe itself lurks across halls with fast speeds that rival the quickest of players, and looking at it is a true death sentence.

It feels like there is no escaping the Robe, as it’s an entity that knows where players are thanks to its memory, and it will follow them into hiding spots to try and grab them. Avoiding the Robe’s gaze is the only path to survival, but even then it’s hard as this creature will block hallways with its large size.
