Leon will have access to a lot of helpful weapons and upgrades during his journey to rescue Ashley Graham in the Resident Evil 4 Remake. Unfortunately, due to limited inventory space, players will only be able to carry a specific set of weapons and items at one time, which can make it difficult to choose upgrades. Purchases like scopes and stocks can make weapons more accurate but will take up precious space in Leon's inventory case. This makes smaller upgrades like the Laser Sight pretty useful as the small device only takes up a couple of spots but can really help those that are struggling to aim with their handguns.
Since handguns are such an important weapon in the Resident Evil 4 Remake, players may want to snag the Laser Sight as quickly as possible. Thankfully, it's pretty easy to get and can be nabbed fairly early on. Here's where to find the Laser Sight in the RE4 Remake.
Where To Find The Laser Sight In The RE4 Remake
Shortly after being taken to an old, seemingly abandoned factory, Leon will cross paths with an enigmatic Merchant that sells all sorts of useful gear. This helpful shopkeep will give players the chance to purchase some new weapons and gives them a place to sell their old, unwanted items and treasures. He will also tune up any weapons (for a price) and is capable of repairing Leon's Knife should it break during combat. The Merchant also offers access to certain rare items but expects more in return than a handful of Pesetas.
If players click the Trade option when speaking to the Merchant, they'll be taken to a special page of the shop where they can trade valuable Spinels for useful items, upgrades, resources, and even treasure maps. This trade section is where players can snag the Laser Sight, and they'll be able to obtain it from the moment they meet the Merchant for the first time. Unfortunately, it's a bit "expensive" this early in Leon's adventure and costs 10 Spinels to unlock.
The fastest way to snag Spinels is for players to grab and complete Requests, written on the bright blue notices scattered around each area. By this point in the story, players should have already received (and hopefully completed) a request to eliminate Blue Medallions in the Village, and they can pick up a "Pest Control Request" to eliminate rats in the Factory right next to where they meet the Merchant for the first time. Players should only have to find a few more Spinels to have enough to unlock the Laser Sight, which they can then attach to many of the handguns Leon will find throughout his journey.
