Resident Evil 4 remake follows Agent Leon S. Kennedy on his quest to locate and rescue the president's daughter, Ashley Graham, from the clutches of a terrifying cult. Shortly after arriving at his destination, Leon's escorts get captured, forcing him to continue his journey alone. While searching for Ashley is the main objective of the game's opening chapters, players can also unlock various cosmetic upgrades by meeting certain requirements.
Even though Leon and Ashley are both dressed quite well, players can feel free to change their costumes if they wish. To do this, they must first complete the requirement associated with the outfit they want and then purchase said outfit from the main menu. There are fourteen outfits to choose from in Resident Evil 4 remake, but not all of them are easy to unlock.
How to Equip Outfits in Resident Evil 4 Remake
In order to change outfits in Resident Evil 4 remake, the player will need to return to the main menu, select the 'Main Story' option, scroll down, and select the 'Extras' option. There, they will be given the choice to customize either Leon's or Ashley's attire by selecting whatever character they want. Before players can equip a new outfit, however, they will first need to purchase one.
So long as the player has completed the objective associated with the outfit they want, they will be able to purchase it from the 'Extra Content Shop' in the 'Bonuses' section of the main menu and equip it in the 'Extras' menu, allowing the costume to be worn during playthroughs.
All of Leon's Outfits in Resident Evil 4 Remake
Leon can wear a total of eight outfits during his journey in Resident Evil 4 remake, but sadly, he won't have access to most of them until the beginning of a New Game+ playthrough. Some outfits can only be obtained from the Extra DLC Pack, so those playing the base game will not be able to unlock them.

The Armor outfit is arguably the most challenging outfit to obtain in all of Resident Evil 4 remake, but it's also the most powerful costume available. When equipped, it renders Ashley completely invulnerable to incoming attacks.
