Having already wowed audiences both new and old, Capcom's Resident Evil 4 remake does not just bring back one of the best survival horror games of all time, but also updates it with many modern conveniences and things for players to do to extend the fun.
A key part of modern gaming greatness is to amass trophies and achievements, and for players looking to complete the whole list of amazing feats, it can be a challenge. This guide will provide all the necessary information to aid that endeavor, especially for those scratching their heads on how to get the Capacity Compliance Trophy and Achievement in Resident Evil 4.
How to Get the Capacity Compliance Trophy and Achievement in Resident Evil 4 Remake
This will come during Leon's jaunt through the Castle in Chapter 12. It is not an exaggeration when the discussion around this trophy and achievement is all about how tough it can be. Essentially, players will have to prevent any enemy from jumping onto the elevator and stopping it. All it takes is one second, and the whole thing needs to be restarted from the top.
Once players have successfully navigated the stairs of the Clocktower and eliminated the enemy that uses the spiked balls, the path ahead can only continue if Leon pulls the lever to move the elevator. This will be the last time to do anything in the Castle section, and there's no turning back after. Be sure to stock up on ammo, and being accurate with shots will come in handy in this section. If any enemy manages to get on top of the elevator and Leon comments on the stoppage, just reload the latest autosave to try again.
Section #1
Once the lever is pulled to start the elevator, here are the enemies to look out for:
- A Summoner will climb up the stairs behind the bars. Use a Rifle to take care of him quickly, or to save ammo, pull the lever after climbing the ladder for the spiked ball, then start the elevator.
- To the right, an enemy with a crossbow will appear. Shoot him in the head for a quick kill.
- Wait for two more enemies to get near the explosive barrel before shooting it to kill them. A third enemy will appear in the doorway to the left, finish the job.
- Turn to the left section and spot two more red barrels. Aim for the one higher up, and wait for a Cultist to get near before detonating it.
- Another Cultist will be coming on the right, so use the other barrel to do the dirty work.
- Turn back to the left, and kill the Cultist trying to get up the stairs.
- Lastly, use the remaining red barrel to eliminate the big group of enemies that are trying to make the jump.
Section #2
Use the short break in between to reload all your weapons, and get ready for even more trouble to come. It is recommended to use a submachine gun or shotgun in this section.
- Immediately turn right and look up to see another Summoner attempting to do his dirty work. Kill him quickly by using a rifle or ignite the explosive barrel.
- Look to the right now, where there will be plenty of enemies trying to make their way to Leon. Try to take them out before they reach the edge, and use the barrel if things get too hectic.
- Shift focus now to the top, where there is an enemy with a shield. Use the shotgun to destroy the shield, and then kill this foe.
- Monitor the surroundings for any more stragglers, and shoot them in the knees if there is a need to buy more time to reload.
Once every enemy has been taken care of, and the elevator finally comes to a stop, a shiny new trophy and achievement will be added to what is hopefully a growing collection.
