Resident Evil 4 Remake's computer power puzzles are some of the most challenging puzzles in the game. In Chapter 13 of the Resident Evil 4 Remake, players must solve several power puzzles, including the tricky freezer puzzle, where Leon must face terrifying Regenerator enemies.
However, players must first unlock the door to the freezer room before tackling its computer terminal puzzle and getting the correct key card access to progress. The main objective is to get the level 3 keycard necessary to free Ashley. However, players must solve several power and keycard puzzles to obtain level 1 and 2 door access. The computer power puzzles are some of Resident Evil 4 Remake's hardest puzzles, and players must stay on their toes with Regeneradors on the prowl.
How To Open Freezer Door (Solve Dissection Power Puzzle)
The freezer door is locked and requires a level 1 key card to open it, plus power. However, players must get the level 1 key card from the Dissection zone and ensure the area is powered up first.
To activate the power, head to the Power Control Lever in the side room to the right of the main corridor south of the freezer room. The computer terminal in Dissection is now active.
To get the level 1 key card, head back to the computer terminal outside the locked Dissection door. Players must use the console to link up the power lines on the computer so power flows from the outside to the center of the puzzle, hitting all power spots marked by an electricity bolt.
To complete the Dissection computer power puzzle, start from the outside and work inwards to change the direction of the lines to complete the circuit via the correct route. The counter in the top-right of the screen indicates how many are complete and how many remain, with 2 to link in total to complete the puzzle. Slide the button to the right, pressing confirm to complete the puzzle, and open the Dissection room door. The level 1 keycard is located inside at the back of the room.
When players exit the Dissection room, one of Resident Evil 4 Remake's Regenerador enemies waits outside.
Players can defeat or try to avoid it, but it's best to kill it before others show up later. Return to the Power terminal to re-route the power to the freezer area. Players can now use the level 1 key card to open the freezer room door.
How To Solve Freezer Computer Power Puzzle (LE5 Weapon Location)
Once inside the freezer, there's another computer terminal puzzle to complete. Completing this puzzle opens another locked freezer door leading to the LE5 assault rifle weapon, one of Resident Evil 4 Remake's top-tier weapons.
The freezer computer puzzle works the same as the Dissection power puzzle except there are now 5 circuit lines to link up, with the puzzle solution pictured above, and it's best to do this before going for the level 2 key card. Grab the LE5 assault rifle inside the small adjoining freezer room on the table and re-load weapons, as things are about to get interesting.
How To Get Level 2 Key Card
It's now to upgrade Leon's level 1 key card for a level 2 key card using the card machine at the back of the freezer room. To get the level 2 key card, insert the level 1 card into the machine by selecting the 'use' option. However, as soon as players do this, a Regenerator bursts out of one of the hanging sacks in the room while the card takes time to process.
Players can either bide their time until the card is ready to collect or stand their ground and fight the Regenerator, aiming for its weak spots to take it out. The machine beeps and a voiceover indicates when it's ready to collect the level 2 key card, c ompleting the freezer puzzle and enabling Leon to unlock the door to the next area.
