Resident Evil 4 remake follows Agent Leon S. Kennedy on his journey to find and rescue the president's daughter from the clutches of a sinister cult. Upon arriving at his destination, he becomes separated from his escorts and is then attacked by the townsfolk. To complete his mission, he needs to fight his way through the hoards of possessed beings blocking his path.
During Chapter 1 of RE4 remake, Leon only has access to a pistol and his Combat Knife, but he can unlock other weapons by progressing the story and investigating new areas. The Rocket Launcher that comes with limitless ammo, however, cannot be obtained during first playthroughs, as it is only a New Game+ perk. Upon beginning a New Game+ playthrough, Leon will be able to purchase the Infinite Rocket Launcher from the Merchant for 2,000,000 Pesetas.
How to Afford the Infinite Rocket Launcher in Resident Evil 4 Remake
Seeing as the Infinite Rocket Launcher is one of the most overpowered weapons available in all of Resident Evil 4 remake, it makes sense why it fetches such a high price. That said, acquiring 2,000,000 Pesetas naturally while playing on New Game+ will be quite difficult, but there are a few ways to speed the process up.
Those struggling to acquire the funds needed to purchase the Infinite Rocket Launcher can decrease its price by 20% by acquiring the Leon w/ rocket launcher charm. When equipped, this charm will permit Leon to buy the Infinite Rocket Launcher for 1,600,000 Pesetas, and though this is still a sizable sum, it's a pretty significant decrease.
To acquire this charm, Leon will need to earn three Gold Tokens from the Shooting Range and then exchange them at the Token Machine next to the elevator. The rewards earned from the Token Machine are random, however, so players may need to exchange their Gold Tokens multiple times before they obtain the Leon w/ rocket launcher charm.
How to Use the Infinite Rocket Launcher in Resident Evil 4 Remake
When players finally acquire the Infinite Rocket Launcher, they will be able to use it as often as they like. It functions pretty much the same way as the regular Rocket Launcher, but Leon will be able to reload it, making it a far superior weapon.
Like with the normal Rocket Launcher, the Infinite Rocket Launcher packs a serious punch and can be used to take down most bosses in the game with ease. It can also deal some pretty serious damage to Leon and Ashley if they happen to be standing too close to its blast radius, so players should take care when aiming with it.
