While he may have been taken out by Chris and Sheva at the very end of Resident Evil 5, Albert Wesker is still undoubtedly the flagship villain of this beloved survival horror series. His sarcastic attitude, superhuman powers, and iconic design have made Wesker one of the most recognizable antagonists in all of gaming, and although the Resident Evil story has since moved on without him, his massive influence on the world at large can still be felt in the games and through the characters.

Albert Wesker is undoubtedly the most recognizable villain of the Resident Evil series, primarily because of how downright evil he is as a character.

During his time as the main villain of the series, Wesker let out quite a few great quotes that have since become considered iconic by many players. Because of how over-the-top he is as a character, it only makes sense that Wesker would say some outlandish things every once in a while, but these quotes below take the cake for being the very best and most memorable to a lot of fans.

Throughout the majority of the first Resident Evil game, Wesker disguises himself as the leader of the Bravo Team who is in the middle of investigating the Spencer Mansion. However, at the very end of the game, it's revealed that this was all a lie, as Wesker was actually luring his "team" into the mansion in order to test out the combat capabilities of the recently developed B.O.W's that they've been fighting the whole time.

When he's caught red-handed by Chris, Wesker tries to play with his emotions by claiming that Chris made him proud, which is understandable since he's one of "His men" after all. It's a clever way to show how masterfully Wesker can slip into his S.T.A.R.S persona, while also referencing his underlying surprise that Chris managed to survive the many monstrosities that he and his allies were set up against.

Despite Ada working so closely with Wesker throughout the story of Resident Evil 4, this isn't exactly an equal partnership, as Wesker constantly reminds her that he's the one pulling strings, and will willingly kill Ada off if the situation calls for it. Nowhere is this disregard shown more than in the Separate Ways DLC for the Remake where, after taking off with the Amber and betraying her ally, Wesker questions what "To do" with her.

A spy who follows her own rules, Ada Wong is an enigmatic character in Resident Evil who has some of the best quotes in the series.

The way he delivers the line so nonchalantly showcases the utter disregard Wesker has for human lives, alongside proving that he has multiple ways of tracking down and destroying anyone who gets in his way. It's an extremely unnerving quote that perfectly ends the fantastic Separate Ways story.

Wesker's inclusion near the end of Code Veronica felt a little jarring to some fans the first time around, so in order to introduce him more naturally into the story, Capcom inserted a brand-new scene in Code Veronica X where he meets Claire, seemingly for the first time, outside the Palace. After asking who the mysterious man is, Wesker starts talking in riddles, claiming that he's a "Ghost" who's come back to "Haunt" her brother Chris.

Not only is this an incredibly spooky way to re-introduce a character, but it also references how Wesker was supposed to be dead after the events of the first game, but has risen from the dead in order to make Chris' life a living hell. It would definitely seem a little out of character for Wesker to reveal everything about himself upon first meeting someone, but this sort of greeting seems much more suited to his personality.

Wesker has always been very full of himself and his achievements, but by the end of the fifth game, he's developed a full-on god complex, believing that his plan to spread Uroboros across the world will make him literally unstoppable. Nowhere does his arrogance shine through more than with this quote which he says in reply to Chris, who starts mocking his grand idea, suggesting that Wesker thinks that he's become somewhat of a king.

In an extremely patronizing tone, Wesker states that he needs to clarify that he's much more than a king, and very soon, will instead become a god whom everyone will come to worship. It's quite an impactful bit of dialogue that not only demonstrates just how self-obsessed Wesker had become but also creates a frightening visual of how everyone, no matter how powerful or prestigious they might be, would be forced to succumb to Wesker if his plan had succeeded.

While this line is uttered by Wesker during the Separate Ways DLC, it's a huge precursor to what Wesker's central objective will be in the fifth game, and how corrupted his mindset has become by this point. Wesker, believing that the world is overpopulated, wanted to make a virus that would only mutate those who were genetically superior, meaning the "weak" were left to perish as a result. While it sounds like utter madness, Wesker actually comes extremely close to putting this into action in Resident Evil 5, only being stopped at the last second by Chris and Sheva.

It's a twisted ideology which is clearly his way of justifying becoming a ruler of the world, and it's small quotes like this that really emphasize just how smitten with this idea he has become, and how far down the rabbit hole he has fallen since his beginnings in the first game.

Being the maniacal mastermind that he is, Wesker is always plotting something behind the scenes, meaning anything that doesn't involve progressing his plans in some way or another is seen as a waste of time, even if it means setting up a big family reunion. At the halfway point of Resident Evil 5, it's revealed that Wesker has been controlling Jill Valentine all along, resulting in a massive battle taking place between the old S.T.A.R.S members.

This is clearly a massive deal not only for Chris, who initially believed that Jill was dead, but also for Jill herself whose strong emotional reactions to Chris' appearance start overriding the power of her mind-control device. To Wesker though, this is just a small bit of free time where he can stretch his legs, as demonstrated when he casually states that he can only spare "Seven minutes" to play around, showing just how cruel and merciless her really is.

A line that has gone down in infamy among the Resident Evil fanbase, when Wesker is being confronted by Chris and is on the verge of being defeated, he begins going on a mad rant about why his plan to wipe out nearly the entire population is justified. During this tirade, one quote he says that perfectly sums his entire plan in the most simple and humorous way possible is the words "Complete Global Saturation". It's a very odd but memorable way of phrasing how Uroboros will affect the population, and the strange pauses he gives between each word make it stick out even more.

In fact, the line has become so popular and beloved by fans that it was even referenced in the Separate Ways DLC for the Resident Evil 4 Remake when Wesker, talking to Ada about the infection spread around the village, refers to it as "Complete local saturation". The line manages to be haunting and hilarious at the same time, and it's something only Wesker himself could say with a straight face.
