Resident Evil Village, the latest entry in the long-running survival-horror series from Capcom, has finally arrived. Players will step into the shoes of Ethan Winters, trying to find his kidnapped daughter amongst a village filled with mutant creatures. While Resident Evil Village maintains the classic Resident Evil survival-horror formula, it does add more action-orientated elements.
It also contains a staggering amount of Achievements and Trophies, challenging players with all kinds of different tasks. One of the trickiest of these Trophies is Fast Reflexes, which requires players to deflect a flaming arrow in mid-air. Despite the fact that Fast Reflexes is only a Bronze Trophy in Resident Evil Village, completing it is far from an easy task.
Where to Complete Fast Reflexes
There are a few different enemies in Resident Evil Village that attack by firing flaming arrows, which gives players some choice of where to go. Despite this, players will first need to make sure that they've got a melee weapon ready, and that they're ready to deal with other enemies too.
The best place to complete the Fast Reflexes Trophy is in the Forbidden Woods, on the path to the Stronghold during Resident Evil Village's story campaign. This occurs shortly after the player has opened the village gate with the Six-Winged Key. While climbing this path, the player will encounter many enemies with bows.
How to Complete Fast Reflexes
Once players find an area with one or more flaming arrow-armed enemies, they'll want to make sure to start by clearing out other threats first. Melee-attacking enemies can make it very difficult to get the Fast Reflexes Achievement in Resident Evil Village, so should be dealt with first. Once the other threats have been dealt with, players will be free to focus solely on the ranged enemies.
The flaming arrows fired by the monsters in Resident Evil Village don't travel too quickly, giving players a good window to deflect one in mid-air. To do so, simply wait for one to be fired, then pull out a melee weapon to hit it. For players who are having trouble doing this while facing multiple archers, it can make things easier to leave only one alive. All players need to do is get the timing right once, and the Fast Reflexes Achievement/Trophy will be complete.
