In The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, players must explore the world, gather resources, and upgrade equipment to defeat the enemies that await in the Depths of Moria. The starter Scout Pack has 10 item slots. This may be enough at the beginning, but if players want to improve their equipment or base, a larger backpack will definitely come in handy.
Lord of the Rings - Return To Moria: How to Increase Inventory Space
How to Get Adventurer's Pack
To increase the inventory space, players need a new backpack - Adventurer's Pack. This incredible backpack gives 25 inventory slots, which will make it much easier to collect resources for crafting, and thus, players’ inventory will get full less often.
Unlock the Workbench
To get this backpack, play through the main story until the workbench is unlocked. Next, craft it by cutting down and collecting some elven wood. The workbench will help players create a lot of different equipment, such as hats, bows, and backpacks.
To create an Adventurer's Pack, the following materials are needed:
- 8 Hide.
Hide is a fairly rare resource in Return To Moria. There are two ways to get it: one for new players and one for late game.
How to Get Hide
The first way is straightforward and easy: hunt animals. At the beginning of the game, the only source of Hide is animals, and there are plenty of them in the Elven section of the game. Each animal drops 1-2 Hide, so it won't take long to collect enough for a backpack.
The second way is a bit more complicated, as it requires progressing through the story to the Crystal Descent location. After players reach the bottom of the Descent, they will unlock a Loom that will allow them to combine Hide Scraps into Hides. Hide Scraps are much more common, so this method will greatly ease the farm of Hide.
Using any of the methods described above, it will be easy to gather enough Hide to craft an Adventurer's Pack that will increase the inventory space and allow players not to worry about the lack of space when gathering materials.
Lord of the Rings: Return To Moria is available on PC. The PS5 version launches on December 5. The Xbox Series X and S version is coming in early 2024.
