As the sequel to Journey to the Savage Planet, the latest open-world game, Revenge of the Savage Planet, brings back a lot of familiar stuff that’s sure to give fans a big dose of nostalgia, whether it’s meeting your robotic friend E.K.O. Again or the excitement of discovering life beyond Earth. This game, however, follows fresh (and more interesting) lore, with many planets lined up to explore, packed with new alien wildlife and bosses.
As such, the planets in Revenge of the Savage Planet are stacked with resources. Some are the same as in the previous game, like Blight Bomb Plants, while others are totally new. Farming these materials is key to increasing your HP and even taking down aliens while scanning all the worlds. This guide covers how to get and use all the resources in Revenge of the Savage Planet.
Revenge of the Savage Planet Achievement/Trophy Guide
Here’s a complete guide to all of the achievements and trophies in Revenge of the Savage Planet.
How to Get All Resources in Revenge of the Savage Planet
In Revenge of the Savage Planet, you won’t just collect resources for later, like upgrading gear or crafting items; you’ll also use them directly to clear out swarms of alien creatures around you. Luckily, most of these materials can be found on almost every planet with a bit of searching. Some, like the Ferro Dispenser, are only native to orbits beyond Stellaris Prime, so you’ll be able to snag those once you get there.
All Scannable Resources in Revenge of the Savage Planet
There are 27 resources in Revenge of the Savage Planet that you’ll need to scan to add them to your Kindex. Once done, you can easily check back on them anytime. This comes in handy if you forget what a certain resource looks like when you need it for crafting weapons, stabilizers, or other gear.
Here’s how to get all the resources in the game, along with a quick overview of their purpose. Your Kindex will show 100% completion once you’ve collected them all from the game's four main planets.

Revenge of the Savage Planet: All Upgrade-O-Rama Challenges Guide
Upgrade-O-Rama is a series of challenges in Revenge of the Savage Planet that unlock upgrade blueprints; here's how to complete them all.
How to Use All Resources in Revenge of the Savage Planet
To use resources in Revenge of the Savage Planet, head to the 3D Printer (there's one at your home in Nu Florida) and print items from there. Just remember, you need the recipe for the item first, which unlocks automatically when you interact with the resources for the first time.
Here's how you can use each resource in the game:
- Aluminium, Carbon, Silicon, and Printer Slurry are the four main ingredients used to print almost all weapons, gear, and upgrades.
- Orange Goo, Vitality Plant, and Health Essence are used to raise your health and power.
- Veins of Silicon, Aluminum, and Carbon are some of the main sources of these three resources.
- Dispensers give you extract (lava, goo, and ferro) to fill your Goo Ingestor, helping you clear paths and deal with creatures.
- Baits, on the other hand, let you make aliens fight each other.
- Blight Bomb Plant, Bombegranate Plant, Gelatinous Blob, and Ferro Bush help you take down creature health and make throwable explosives.
- Metallic Chunk, Goo Plant, and Volcano Plant can be used to damage local wildlife across different planets.
- Alta Coupon Crate is the only way to farm Alta money.
- Finally, you can use the Blight Bomb, Bombegranate, and Seed Bag to blow up or weaken aliens directly.
