Noire in Reverse: 1999 is the featured character in Phase Two of the Version 2.5 update. She’s a 6-star limited Plant Afflatus user who specializes in [Neg Status] applications and recasting her Ultimate. She has a lot of useful and unique skills that can pair really well depending on the characters you own or wish to obtain.
Negative Statuses in Reverse: 1999 are in a league of their own, and Noire is one of the best when it comes to these status effects. She can apply Rigidity, Poison, and Burn to all her enemies, thus making her a great addition to your team in the short run. If you do plan to get her, here’s the best build Noire can use to maximize her damage output in Reverse: 1999.
Reverse: 1999 - Tuesday Build (Psychubes, Team Comps, & Skills)
Tuesday in Reverse: 1999 is the perfect asset in a Poison team for harder boss fights. Here's everything you need to know about building her.
Noire's Skills in Reverse: 1999, Explained
Noire’s skills are pretty easy to understand, and the most important ones you need to focus on are her Skill 2 and Ultimate. Her Skill 2 [Stunt Scene] deals damage to two enemies on the field, and she gains stacks of [Genius Insight] after doing so, depending on her Insight Level. In addition to her stack accumulation, she has a chance of triggering [Spotlight], which is a [Neg Status] that can be applied to the enemy.
Depending on the type of [Neg Status] acquired (either Rigidity, Poison, or Burn) and the number of stacks obtained through [Genius Insight], Noire’s Ultimate, [Dramatic Moment], has a 6% chance of recasting after being used. She deals burst damage to all enemies on the field. Players need to be aware that although Noire’s [Genius Insight] stack has a limit, it does not affect her damage output. It just further increases her chance of casting the skill again. As such, using her Skill 2 to build up stacks continuously before finally using her Ultimate to deal maximum mental damage is recommended.
Best Psychubes For Noire in Reverse: 1999
Rehearsal of Dreams is Noire’s signature psychube and a great option to use when unlocking her. It’s explicitly catered to her kit and takes advantage of her unique Ultimate. It gives her Ultimate Might stacks, further boosting her Ultimate Might and damage dealt when attacking enemies affected by [Neg Status]. This psychube also adds more stacks if the character is of the Plant Afflatus. Another Story is your next best psychube option since it gives Noire Ultimate Might, thus increasing her damage potential, since Noire relies on her Ultimate to deal damage. For the third option, you can use Luxurious Leisure, as it specialises in Ult-based attacks. With this psychube, Noire’s damage dealt through her Ultimate is increased by 6%.
For the final option, Brave New World is a great alternative, as it increases the Incantation Might of the wearer. It’s a good psychube for any damage-dealing character, but if you plan to use it on Noire, make sure that her supports are built really well.
Best Resonance Build For Noire in Reverse: 1999
When it comes to Resonance for Noire, you need to build her on the classic DPS build. She requires CRIT, and your build may vary depending on whether you run her with a Crit buffer. Additionally, make sure her Resonance is on Elucidation to double down on the Ultimate Might and the little bit of DMG Bonus you can receive from it.
Best Team Compositions For Noire in Reverse: 1999
Reverse: 1999 players should be aware that Noire is not an easy character to use. She may be easy to build, but she requires a lot of support from her teammates to even deal a modicum of damage. However, she’s also one of the best DPS in the game, but since she’s heavily reliant on support, she’s not good at solo damage teams. So, if you do plan to get her, make sure you have these characters on hand to use her to her fullest extent.
Reverse: 1999 - Best Anjo Nala Build (Psychubes, Team Comps, & Skills)
Reverse: 1999 players looking to effectively make use of Anjo Nala's versatile Sub DPS abilities can refer to this guide.
Noire + Anjo Nala + Vila + Loggerhead
Anjo Nala is a great addition to any Noire team, as she helps Noire by boosting her Ultimate damage and applying [Neg Status] when required. Vila can apply Crit and heal, so if you plan to use a Crit buffer like her, make sure that Noire’s resonance build is a little different from usual. Loggerhead is a must-have addition to most Noire teams as she provides decent healing and [Neg Status] application.
Noire + An An Lee + Lopera + Fatutu
If you have An An Lee’s Euphoria, she’s a great [Neg Status] applicator for Noire. Lopera is a great addition to this team as well, since she’s a good buffer and sustainer. It will help manage Noire’s low Crit with her array, whilst also applying Burn, increasing her Ultimate Might. (If you don’t have Lopera, feel free to use Argus instead and take advantage of the Mono Plant Afflatus team with Vila as your healer). Fatutu is great for passive healing, but if you don’t have her, feel free to use any other healer like Kakania, Vila, or Medicine Pocket.
Noire + Melania(E) +Argus + Sotheby
This is a team you can plan for the future, as it requires Melania’s Euphoria to work effectively. Melania’s Euphoria boosts Crit Rate, Crit DMG, and Ultimate Might, so Noire is a great option to get if you have Melania. Argus will be a great debuff in this situation as she can increase Noire’s Ultimate DMG, but if you don’t have her, you can use Willow or Tuesday instead. If you plan to use both of them, a Noire + Willow + Tuesday + Any Healer team is your best option.
