Blox Fruits, the One Piece-inspired game within Roblox, has seen continuous support since its initial launch back in 2019, now releasing a sea-focused update with the official Update 20. Although Roblox servers have been up and down for the past 24 hours or so, fans diving in have plenty to look forward to.

As one could guess, this Roblox game sees players adventuring from island to island in search of weapons and fruits (with this update making changes and additions to both of these). Players are also able to pick a Marines or Pirates faction, living out their One Piece dreams within Roblox, and this update brings all of that to life.

Two of the biggest additions with Blox Fruits Update 20 is a new level cap, allowing players to now hit level 2550, and the introduction of a new Tiki Outpost Island. There is also a weather system used there and for at-sea events, with the game also introducing its new, previously-teased Shark Anchor weapon, as well as the Sanguine Art fighting style. Another big one is the addition of Scrolls to Blox Fruits, which help buff weapons. To use Scrolls, players will need to interact with the Dragon Talon Sage, with scrolls requiring certain drops from Special Events. All of this, and more, signal a major shift within Blox Fruits' meta, something fans will be establishing in the coming days.

As a broad overview, Blox Fruits Update 20 adds two new Fruits (Mammoth and Sound), makes two changes to Fruits, adds a new boat and upgrades more, introduces seven new Sea Events including the Raid Boss Leviathan, adds four new accessories, eight new materials, and four new titles, reworks 22 weapons and revamped the spin, introduces new models for most fruits, adds a new Danger Level, and more. In other words, the Update is quite chunky and seems to deliver on the high fan anticipation and expectation that it had prior to launch. The full patch notes are available below.

Blox Fruits' popularity stays the course with Update 20 and is likely for the foreseeable future. It speaks to what happens when two popular elements, like Roblox and One Piece, come together. If anything, it's even more proof that One Piece is overdue an MMORPG adaptation, but when and if that'll happen remains to be seen. For now, Blox Fruits is the perfect alternative.
