With the Lunar Glow event, Grow a Garden's devs have also kicked off the Blood Moon event — and it’s packed with new (and, of course, exciting) stuff like crops, pets, gear, and even mutations.

While most of the items are limited time only, mutations are here to stay, so you can still get most of them after the event ends. The newest mutations include Bloodlit, Celestial, Zombified, and Disco. They’re pretty profitable, too, boosting the value of your fruits and veggies way more than usual.

Here’s a look at all the Bloodmoon event mutations and how to get them on your plants in Grow a Garden:

How to Get Bloodlit Fruit in Grow a Garden

Bloodlit is the event's main mutation, and it’s temporary. The fruits that get it become four times more expensive. To get the Bloodlit mutation in Grow a Garden, you’ll need to wait for the Blood Moon event. It has about a 33% chance of showing up at night.

When the event’s live, your crops might get the Bloodlit mutation, which gives them a glowing blood-red look. To improve your odds, use a Night Staff to force it when the event's up.

How to Get Celestial Fruit in Grow a Garden

The Celestial mutation is a permanent one, so you can get it anytime as long as the right conditions are met. It can help you earn more Sheckles, with each plant selling for 120x more than its original price.

To get the Celestial Mutation in Grow a Garden, stick around until a Meteor Shower hits at night. If a fallen star lands on your fruit, it might turn into a Celestial variant. You can also place a Star Caller on your farm to target a specific area for this mutation type. Since this tool is only available in the Event Shop, make sure to stock up before the event's gone — it might not come back.

Disco is now the best mutation in the game, beating out Rainbow and Shocked, as it makes your crops 125x more valuable, so even cheap fruits can turn into serious cash.

To get the Disco Mutation in Grow a Garden, you’ll need to keep an eye out for the Disco weather, which can only be triggered by the dev, Jandel. When it kicks in, your character will start dancing to "Raining Tacos" by Parry Gripp, and your crops will flash rainbow colors, cycling through different shades.

How to Get Zombified Fruit in Grow a Garden

To get the Zombified Mutation in Grow a Garden, leave the Chicken Zombie on your plot and let it turn your fruits into this unique variant (which makes your fruits and veggies worth 25x more than normal).

With that said, this animal was only awarded when the Blood Moon event first launched, and sadly, it can’t be snagged anymore. However, players can still trade for it with others who have one — usually in exchange for mutated fruits or other pets.
