Over the last few updates, Grow a Garden has seen a bunch of new crop mutations added to the mix. Some show up during special events, while others depend on unique weather conditions, like Black Hole or Pollinated.
With the Friendship Update, a new rare Heavenly variant has joined the game alongside Dawnbound. If you're curious about how to get the Heavenly mutation on your crops in Roblox's Grow a Garden, what it does, and how profitable it is, this guide breaks it all down for you.
Grow A Garden: All Mutations (& How to Get Them)
Mutations are a fun part of Roblox's Grow A Garden that give you special plants. Here's a quick guide on the different types and how to get them.
How to Get Heavenly Mutation in Grow a Garden
To get the Heavenly mutation in Grow a Garden, you need to be online right when an update goes live. That’s because this variant is triggered by a Jandel-exclusive event, similar to how Disco and Plasma mutations work. Though it’s a permanent one, getting it is still luck-based.
When the devs activate it, you’ll see a massive monkey in a red hat and business suit flying through the sky. It’s the same NPC from the Lazer event, but this time, it floats around the server instead of zapping crops with laser beams. While the monkey’s flying, some fruits in your garden will automatically take on the Heavenly mutation.
All Heavenly crops have their selling value increased by five times, so you can easily sell low-tier crops for much more than their original price. To catch this rare variant, try logging in during live update launches (this usually happens once a week) or a few hours before or after it drops.
Best Heavenly Mutation Combos in Grow a Garden
Thankfully, players can make their Heavenly variants more valuable by stacking mutations on them. This can be done by leaving the crops hanging on the plants and letting them be exposed to various weathers and events. These are the top mutation pairings to use with Heavenly crops in GaG.

Is Heavenly Mutation Worth it in Grow a Garden?
Heavenly, on its own, isn’t all that impressive; it just multiplies your crop’s value by five. There are nine other, often more profitable, mutations to aim for, and four of them (namely Frozen, Gold, Rainbow, and Shocked) can be spawned manually using pets and sprinklers. If you're hoping to stack variants on your fruits, then waiting for the devs to trigger Heavenly might be worth it. But honestly, Disco is a much better dev-exclusive event to go for.
