One of the best pets to have in your garden is the humble snail, but it's one of the rarest in the game due to being of Mythical rarity. How to Get a Snail in Grow a Garden
The Snail has a 40% chance of hatching from a Bug Egg. All types of animal eggs can be purchased from the Pet Egg stand found at the opposite end of the island from the Seed and Sell Stuff stands. It's got a yellow and white roof, and three eggs can be seen on the left side of it.
While the chance of getting a Snail from a Bug Egg is the highest of all the possible animals that can hatch from it, the Bug Egg itself has an incredibly low 3% chance of appearing in the Egg Shop and also costs 50 million Sheckles, which is a huge amount. It can also be purchased for 199 Robux, should you be happy to spend some of your premium Roblox currency on it.
The Pet Egg stand refreshes its stock every 30 minutes, so be sure to check back regularly to maximize your chances of finding the Bug Egg for sale.

What Does the Snail Do in Grow a Garden?
Once placed in your garden, the Snail gives you a 5% chance of getting a seed from any harvested plant. This means that, on average, one in every 20 plants that you harvest will get you a free seed. There's no guarantee that it will be exactly every 20 plants, and you can't tell when you're about to get a free seed.
It's also worth noting that the Snail grants a lower chance of getting a seed when harvesting rarer plants in Grow a Garden. However, if you have multiple snails, you can stack the trait to increase your chances of getting that extra seed.
You'll also need to feed your Snail to increase its age. You can feed any animal by using the fruits/crops you harvest from your garden. The Snail has a Hunger bar of 12,000, but the efficacy of its trait will improve as it ages.
