Catch 'Em All With Pokemon Bronze Forever
Much like the original games, Pokemon Bronze Forever starts players off by having them pick their starter Pokemon from a professor. The adventure begins in Mitis Town, and players meet up with Professor Cypress to claim their first Pokemon. Typically, there are only 3 starter creatures to pick from, but in Pokemon Bronze Forever, players get to pick from 27 starters across the different Pokemon generations.
After players have obtained their starter Pokemon, it's possible to partake in battles. The format will be familiar to anyone who's had experience with Pokemon games, and the battles are sufficiently challenging. Players pick between various offensive and defensive moves to overpower their competitors. Pokemon that win battles earn XP, which helps them get stronger and, in some cases, eventually evolve.
At first, gamers can only battle against NPCs, but after obtaining the first badge from a Pokemon gym, it's possible to battle against other players. During exploration, players will bump into wild creatures that can be battled and caught using Poke Balls; the entire experience is quite faithful to the original games.
Team Eclipse Serve as the Bad Guys
In Pokemon games, there is typically a villainous group that players have to thwart. This time around, gamers are up against Team Eclipse, who reveal how dastardly they are by kidnapping the player's parents. Unlike typical trainers who believe humans and Pokemon can live harmoniously, Team Eclipse believes there is inherent discord between the two. The entire story is a long one, containing over 30 chapters that'll keep any Pokemon fan engrossed.
Battle it Out in Pokemon Advanced
For those who are more interested in battling than collecting creatures, there's Pokemon Advanced. The first thing players notice is that there are several shops available where it's possible to obtain useful items, including TMs, HMs, and clothing. PokeDollars are the main currency used, and if players don't want to grind for money, it's possible to purchase it using Robux.
What makes Pokemon Advanced unique is that players take control of a Pokemon instead of a trainer. At first, it's only possible to play as one of the three Kanto starters, but gamers can play as other Pokemon as progress is made. To progress, players accept quests from quest givers located all over.
Some quests require gamers to find items, while others have players completing battles. It's possible to battle against other players, though to do that, gamers must turn on PvP in the settings tab. Take care when doing so, as battles are quite intense and there are a lot of high-level players that can eliminate a beginner with one attack.
Pokemon Bronze and Advanced Are Just the Tip of the Iceberg
There are several more Pokemon games to choose from in Roblox, but not all have an active user base. Players who are into Pokemon GO's gameplay can try out Roblox Poke Monsters GO! Which features Team Valor and Team Mystic. There's also Pokemon High School for players who enjoy the RPG aspects of Game Freak's franchise.
