With such a large following, the developers at Gamer Robot have been looking at ways of improving the One Piece-inspired RPG. In 2024, Blox Fruits implemented dedicated servers for players. This move was especially helpful for new gamers looking to explore the large world without having to deal with large crowds. Now, Gamer Robot has set its sights on improving the player experience by introducing more frequent updates to the Roblox-hosted RPG.

Starting in July 2025 with the Summer Expansion, Blox Fruits will see weekly updates rolled out to gamers. According to a recent Blox Bulletin, hese updates will bring several fruit reworks, brand-new gameplay mechanics, and several features fans have been calling for. A limited-time event will be held to celebrate Blox Fruit’s 50 billion visits milestone. This event is set to offer players the chance to earn exclusive items, as well as laying the groundwork for future updates.
Blox Fruits Set to Get Weekly Updates Starting in July 2025
Gamer Robot hopes this new format of delivering content updates will help provide a consistent experience for players. Before this announcement, the developers supported players with sporadic content updates and limited-time codes. Gamers can still redeem a wealth of codes for Blox Fruits that unlock different benefits. The current list of bonuses includes 20 minutes of 2x experience, stat resets, and in-game titles.
As players wait to see the implementation of weekly updates, there is still a world of games to explore in Roblox. For example, Grow a Garden has reached a record active player count in Roblox just a few months after its release. The new farming simulator has clocked a whopping 3 million active users since it was released in March 2025. With such large numbers trying to access the game, some players reported Roblox completely crashing under the strain.
Despite being a few years older, Blox Fruits remains a popular example of RPGs found within Roblox. The regular updates to the summer expansion will no doubt be welcome news for fans as they look to explore the high seas and open world.
