How to Become Arrancar in Type Soul

Type Soul Hollow

The Hollow progression in Type Soul is best described in one word: survival. You start with the weakest Fishbone form and can evolve by killing and eating other Hollows. This way, you can evolve into Menos, Adjuchas, and then Vasto Lorde. At all stages, besides Fishbone, you can evolve into Arrancar.

So, to become an Arrancar in Type Soul, you must rip off the mask. To do this, press CTRL + K or Down D-pad Arrow + Y on the controller. It is important to note that, depending on the stage you rip off the mask, you will evolve into different Arrancar forms:

  • Menos - Menoscar (Grade 5)
  • Adjuchas - Adjucar (Grade 3)
  • Vasto Lorde - Vastocar (Semi-Grade 2)

Of course, it is preferable to evolve into Vastocar, as it is the most powerful form of Arrancar. However, don't despair if you've ripped off the mask early. Players can reach Vastocar by finding and absorbing 7 Hogyoku Fragments.

After you become an Arrancar in Type Soul, you'll need to focus on raising your grade. To do this, complete missions and fight enemies.

Once you reach Grade 2, you'll be able to obtain Partial Resurreccion. Talk to Harribel and then visit Espada Castle to find a pink orb. It will lead you to obby. Completing it will unlock Partial Resurreccion depending on your Partial Element.

Your next goal is Full Resurreccion, which requires you to fulfill quite a few conditions:

  • Win 13 Raids or 25 ranked PvP.
  • Kill 50 Hollow NPCs, Bawabawa or Jidanbo, and get 10 Elite Grade Grips.
  • Visit Menos Forest and enter the maze by meditating near the sword. Inside, you'll need to survive to unlock Resurreccion.

Finally, you'll want to get Segunda Etapa to reach max power as an Arrancar in Type Soul. Luckily, this is fairly easy to do, as you just need to talk to the sword again and then grip 20 players with Bankai, Voltstanding, or Full Resurreccion.
