How To Unlock Shikai In Type Soul

To get Shikai in Type Soul, you must reach Grade 2 and defeat your Shikai boss in the inner world. What’s more, you have to meet several conditions before you can fight for the right to use Shikai.

  1. The Zanpakuto is the exclusive weapon of the Shinigami faction. So, if you want to go this way, you will need to die, and then find Kisuke in your lost soul form. He will make you a Shinigami of the lowest Grade.
  2. After this, you must complete Missions and also earn Division EXP to increase your Grade. Your goal is Grade 2 since Meditation in Type Soul will become available to you from this progression stage.
  3. Then, visit the Soul Society and start Meditating there. Each session takes approximately 5–7 minutes.

Your character will automatically stand up when they finish Meditation.

To get to the Shikai Boss in Type Soul, you need to repeat this Meditation process 3 times. At the fourth Meditation, you will find yourself in the inner world, where your opponent will be waiting for you. It is undoubtedly a tough enemy, since it can use all your skills and is basically a copy of you.

When you finally defeat the boss, you will receive your Shikai. But, if you, you need to wait 10 minutes for the cooldown, and then Meditate once more to start battle again.

Shikai Types In Type Soul

It's worth noting that your Shikai type is chosen randomly after defeating the Shikai Boss. You can get one of the following:

  • Legendary 3% - Suzumebachi, Theater, Flower, Ice, Blood, Ink
  • Rare 10% - Poison, Zangetsu, Wind, Judgment, Fire
  • Common 83% - Berserk, Confusion, Creation, Lightning, Shadow, Water

Despite the RNG, players have a chance to get the Shikai they want. To do this, you will need to get a Shikai Reroll Item. You mgiht want to collect a lot of these, especially if you want one of the Legendary Shikais in Type Soul.
