Type Soul can be a tough challenge for newcomers. With these beginner tips, players can learn the basics of the game.
The Highway
Your first step is to travel to the first location of Hell, namely, The Highway. To do this, find Qas J. Ward NPC in Karakura town and talk to him. In The Highway, you will have to complete two quests for Felis. The first requires finding 4 shiny fragments scattered around the location, while the second requires you to play hide and seek.
After this, players will be able to cross the bridge to the Weakened Gate Guardian boss. Defeating him will give you Book Fragment 1 and unlock the path to Ring 1.
Ring 1
In the new area, a new NPC named Tiger Sozosei awaits you. The NPC will offer you a choice of either destroying 120 Hell NPCs or completing 40 Raids. It's highly recommended that you do the NPC one, as it will take much less time. Then, talk to Tiger Sozosei and find 1 NPC. Talking to the latter will start a boss battle, after which you will receive Book Fragment 2 and go to the Ring 2 location .
Ring 2
Unlike the previous locations, in Ring 2, you will not have to complete quests. Instead, you will have two boss battles. Hitozosu of the Wind Boss is waiting for you at the beginning of the location and drops Book Fragment 3. For the second battle, you need to go further and talk to 2 NPCs. After winning, you will receive Book Fragment 4 and a Cracked Medallion.
After that, you will want to talk to Blair NPC so that she can fix the Medallion, and you will unlock True Shikai. Then you can go to the next area.
Ring 3
In Ring 3, players must talk to an NPC named 3 to start another boss battle and get Book Fragment 5. After winning, players can get to the Maze, where they cannot move when a woman appears. Otherwise, you will lose some health. Your task is to find a gate to get out of the Maze.
The Library
The gate to the Maze will lead you to the Library, where you must solve two puzzles to get closer to getting True Bankai in Type Soul. First, find 5 books and choose the correct answers:

- Story of the King (I Worship the King)

Ring 1 Final Challenge
After completing all the previous steps, you have to do the last and most difficult challenge. You must go AFK in Ring 1 in Type Soul for 20-25 hours. Once you see the ‘One last thing. Figure it out.’ Message on screen, this will mean that the test is passed. Then, you just need another player or NPC to knock you out, and you will awaken your True Bankai in Type Soul.
