Every New Romance Anime Announced For 2026

New romance anime are always coming out, and 2026 might not only have quantity but also quality. Although the second half of the year is mostly shrouded in mystery, dozens of 2026 romance anime have already been confirmed, plenty of which are airing in the ongoing Winter season. Whether you are craving a romcom, drama, fantasy, or harem, you will not be left wanting over the upcoming months.

Frankly, this year has so many romance anime that everyone will probably miss out on a couple of series that perfectly suit them. While we cannot help too much in that area, we can at least keep track of all of 2026's anime love stories, covering both entirely new shows AND sequels to established series. If everything goes well, the upcoming lineup might even surpass 2025's strong romance anime slate.

For each season, we have separated new romance anime and sequels, just to make that distinction as obvious as possible. There is also a section dedicated to anime that are targeting 2026 but have yet to announce a season.

I have only included shows that prioritize romance to an extent. Also, no movies or OVAs.
