The latest Helldivers 2 leak shows a plasma pistol that will reportedly be available in the future. Over the past months, Helldivers 2 players have been treated to leaks that revealed details about the upcoming content. Recently, one provided a sneak peek into new Illuminate enemies, while another showed a new off-road vehicle that Arrowhead could add to its over-the-shoulder game in the future.
Helldivers 2, having received positive reviews at launch, released several updates to boost player engagement. Recently, the game introduced the Democratic Detonation Warbond, which features a variety of weapons, armor sets, and cosmetics. It also secretly added new enemies, Factory Strider and The Gunship, that appear at higher difficulty levels. Aside from content updates, Helldivers 2 brought hotfixes to address high-priority bugs and issues, especially ones reported by players.

This one-handed gun looks like a tiny version of the energy-based PLAS-1 Scorcher. There are several tubes attached to both sides of its barrel. As seen in the footage, the weapon has a thinner grip than many other weapons in Helldivers 2.
Arrowhead may bring this energy-based pistol to Helldivers 2 in the future, and if so, players may obtain it from a new Warbond. There is also a likelihood that it will never be available in the game.
Pistols Are An Important Part of Helldivers 2 Loadouts
With an array of weapons at their disposal, Helldivers 2 players can create custom loadouts to beat the toughest enemies and complete missions. These item sets consist of six parts: primary weapon, secondary weapon, armor, grenade, stratagem, and booster, which can be bought with Requisition Slips. Players need to use better loadouts at higher difficulty levels since they encounter more powerful enemies like Factory Striders and Charges.
Recently, Helldivers 2 has introduced several new weapons, such as G-123 Thermite and BR-14 Adjudicator, which players can use to upgrade their custom loadouts. G-123 Thermite is a grenade that sticks to surfaces before blowing up nearby enemies. It can be utilized to destroy nests, from which Terminid monsters continuously spawn. The B-14 Adjudicator, on the other hand, is a Marksman Rifle with medium armor penetration and low magazine capacity. It has higher recoil than many other automatic rifles available in Helldivers 2. Players are free to get these weapons with medals, valuable items they can earn by completing daily challenges.
