How to Give Gifts in Rune factory: Guardians of Azuma

Giving Mauro a gift in Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma

To give a villager a gift in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, you must first progress through the main story quests to unlock the ability to give gifts, which happens early on in the game. Afterward, you can talk to any villager and select the 'Let's hang out' dialogue option followed by 'Gift a gift.' This brings up your inventory, where you can choose an item to give as a gift. You can then view each character's liked, loved, liked, and hated gifts in the Profiles menu. If you want to raise your Bond Level with each character, it's best to only choose liked and loved gifts.

To get most of the loved gifts that are recipes, you will need to level up your friendship level to at least level 6 so you can unlock the ability to cook together. At Iroha's Teahouse or one of the game's various Izakaya stations within each village, you can then select the recipe and character with the chef hat icon to unlock special, unique cooking recipes in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azum a to give as gifts, such as Feast of the Heavens, Biggest Fan Sandwich, and Chocolate House, to name a few. Therefore, it helps to have all villagers unlocked and a bond level of 6 with most of them if you want to unlock all possible gifts.

Lastly, it's also best to check if you've crafted all the food production buildings to save time searching for ingredients, including ones like the Vinegar Distillery.

However, if you give a gift, you can still chat to a character at least once afterward on the same day by choosing the 'Let's chat' dialogue option.
