Before you unlock the best Practical Abilities in the game, you will need to make sure you have enough XP to get them. There are different types of XP, with each type of ability having its own XP, as well as All-Purpose XP that you can use on anything you'd like. To get XP, there are a few different methods you can use:

  • Battle and defeat enemies: To get a significant amount of XP, try battling enemies you find that are your level or higher. If you battle ones that are lower in level, you won't get much XP out of it.
  • Defeat bosses and rematch them: Bosses that you battle in the main story are available to fight again afterward. They can be fought once per day, so make sure to take advantage of this to get XP.
  • Utilize XP Scrolls: You will sometimes get Tiger Scrolls and Kirin Scrolls in the game, and you will need to make sure you use them to get some XP points quickly. You can find them in your Inventory.
