Where to Find the Granite Maul Recipe in RuneScape Dragon Wilds

Players can get the weapon blueprint for Granite Maul by completing the Granite Mauled quest from Doric in RuneScape Dragonwilds. Doric can be found northeast of the Fractured Plains region, camping on a hill.

After speaking to Doric, he'll direct players to a nearby tower and hint at some secrets hiding within. So, players can head directly north from Doric's location, cross the broken bridge, and enter the area with a sealed Dragonkin Vault.

Activating Dragonkin Statues to Enter the Vault

After reaching the secret Dragonkin Vault in Fractured Plains, players will need to first eliminate all the enemies in the area. After that, you'll need to find four Dragonkin statues and activate them to open the sealed vault.

The first statue is directly opposite the vault's entrance, while the other three can be found within the same area, close to each other. Once all the statues are activated, all the flames near the entrance will light up, and players will be able to enter the vault.

Completing the Dragonkin Vault & Finding the Secret Blueprint

This is a high-level Dragonkin Vault filled with several enemies, so it's best that you enter the vault prepared for combat. You'll encounter several Vault Guardians and Putrid Rats while traversing through the vault. In the final room, you'll encounter two vault bosses: Vault Overlord and Vault Archon.

The best strategy is to wait across the bridge and agro one of the bosses from the other side. Once the boss nears the ledge, it'll stop moving, allowing you to cheese it with ranged bow shots. After the first boss is down, repeat it for the second one as well, until all enemies in the boss room are defeated.

Now, head inside the boss room and claim all the rewards, including the secret weapon blueprint from the glowing Dragonkin Statue.

How to Craft the Granite Maul Masterwork Weapon

Head back to Doric and give him the blueprints to unlock the Granite Maul weapon recipe in your journal. Granite Maul will require players to craft its individual components before making the weapon itself.

You'll require a Smithing Anvil to craft the Granite Maul.
