Granite is a useful material in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, like it is in many other survival games. Crafting is undoubtedly one of the major aspects of the game, and as players explore and try to take back the world of Ashenfall, they will need to make all sorts of items. A lot of such items need Granite.
Having said that, Granite is found in a mid-to-late area of the game, so you’ll have to make some progress before you can grab some. Here's where to find Granite in Runescape: Dragonwilds and what it can be used for.
RuneScape Dragonwilds: How to Mine Floating Runes At Geysers
Players will come across geysers to mine Rune Essence, here's how to bring the floating runes down to mine them too in RuneScape Dragonwilds.
How to Get Granite in RuneScape: Dragonwilds
You can only find Granite in one place: the Stormtouched Highlands. It’s a rocky, mountainous area in the northwest part of Ashenfall. Before heading there, make sure you are ready; here, things get tough fast. This area is home to strong Garou warriors who can be hard to deal with, and players will also face aggressive wolves and sheep.
In addition to Granite, you can also find other useful materials like Copper and Iron in this region.
Once you are in the area, look for Granite deposits on the ground. A quick heads-up: They look a lot like the regular stone boulders that you’ve probably seen around Ashenfall. Granite deposits are a bit darker, but it’s still easy to mix them up, so look closely.
Another thing to remember is that regular pickaxes won’t work on Granite. Fans will need at least a Bronze Pickaxe to mine it. If you don’t have it yet, you can craft it at a Smithing Anvil using the following materials:
- 5 x Bronze Bars
- 4 x Oak Logs
- 2 x Leather
Once you have crafted the Bronze Pickaxe, equip it when you see a deposit and mine as much Granite as you need.
