Although some players may be tempted to go with one of the game's many two-handed weapons, others may prefer to take a more defensive approach to combat. Getting all of the shields in RuneScape: Dragonwilds isn't entirely necessary, as the Anti-Dragon and Dragonblight shields have the same block, weight, and durability stats as their bronze and iron counterparts do. That said, the two dragon-themed shields look a lot cooler and serve as something of a badge of honor for those strong enough to obtain them.
Wooden Shield

Anti-Dragon Shield

Players can learn the recipe for the Anti-Dragon Shield by interacting with a glowing orb in a Vault in the Whispering Swamp area. After doing so, they'll be able to craft an Anti-Dragon Shield at a Smithing Anvil using 12 Blightwood, 4 Wild Anima, 4 Hard Leather, 6 Opal, 8 Vault Shards, and 1 Vault Core.

Dragonblight Shield

Players will be able to craft the Dragonblight shield after defeating Velgar as part of the "Dragon Slayer" quest. They can do so using the Dragon Visage that they got from the Wise Old Man in exchange for Velgar's head, an Anti-Dragon Shield, 12 Vault Shards, and 1 Vault Core.
