Gemstones are one of the rarest items to drop in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Despite their rarity, they are essential for crafting high-tier items and gear that can help your character survive while exploring new and harder areas.
You unlock the Gemstone Prospector ability at Mining Skill level 16 in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. It gives you a chance to get Gemstones while mining Ore Nodes. Each Gemstone can be found in a different location, with a similar method to get it. Here’s how to find all the Gemstones in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.

Where To Find Opal In RuneScape: Dragonwilds
To find Opal in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you must mine Tin and Copper Ores. You can find Copper all over the Fractured Plains region, while Tin is rarer to find. You need to explode both Copper and Tin Ore Nodes when you find them for a small chance to get an Opal Gemstone.
The Fractured Plains region is filled with different types of enemies that poison you on hit, which will create bad situations if you don’t come prepared. You also need a Bone Pickaxe as the Stone one won’t be able to mine the Tin and Copper Ore Nodes.
Where To Find Sapphire In RuneScape: Dragonwilds
To find Sapphire in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you must mine Gold Ore. You can only find Gold Ore Nodes on the eastern side of the forgotten continent of Ashenfall, which is the Bloodblight Swamp region. Make sure to bring a Bronze Pickaxe to be able to mine the Gold Ore Nodes. However, it's better not to use the Pickaxe to mine; instead, cast the Rocksplosion spell on each Gold Ore Node for a chance to get Sapphire in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
Sapphire is required to make items like the Staff of Light in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, making it a sought-after material for mage players.
Since you can only find Sapphire in the Bloodblight Swamp region, you should only go there when you’re prepared. The entire area is covered with poison clouds that block most of the way, and your character won’t survive without a potion to resist poison damage.
Where To Find Red Topaz In RuneScape: Dragonwilds
To find Red Topaz in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you must mine Silver Ore. Silver is available in the same region as Gold, and most of the time, you can find a Silver Ore Node right next to a Gold one. So you get the benefit of farming for both Red Topaz and Sapphire in RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Just like Sapphire in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you can only farm Red Topaz by bringing a Bronze Pickaxe to the poisonous Bloodblight Swamp.
Where To Find Jade In RuneScape: Dragonwilds
To find Jade in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, you must mine Iron Ore. Iron is exclusively available in the Stormtouched Highlands. You can explore the northwestern area and find Iron Ore Nodes scattered all over its corners and mountains. Make sure that you’re using the Rocksplosion Spell on every Iron Ore Node you find for a better chance of getting Jade in RuneScape: Dragonwilds.
Unlike all the other regions, Stormtouched Highlands has level four enemies that can deal a lot of damage. Make sure you have at least level three armor with a decent weapon in RuneScape: Dragonwilds to be able to survive the region.
