Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds is producing a new game show for ABC, it has been announced. The show is one of several new projects that Reynolds is working on, as there are also rumors that he is in talks to star in the Netflix Dragon's Lair movie.
In a trailer posted to Reynolds' YouTube channel, fans got their first look at Don't, the weird new game show debuting on ABC on June 11. The show, which is hosted by Parks and Recreation actor Adam Scott sees contestants compete to win $100,000. All they have to do to win is don't do something.
The trailer, which also features Reynolds' voice, shows contestants being rolled over by giant balls, being punched in the face, and using foul language. While the show is ridiculous, viewers seem to have enjoyed the video. Several fans of Reynolds have also joked at how much his humor sounds like Deadpool.
Some have also compared Don't to Japanese game shows like those where contestants have to guess if something is real or made of food. Scott said that “I feel in my heart of hearts that watching people do embarrassing things with a high degree of difficulty for money is universal" and said that Reynolds is a good producer. Viewers will be able to see how funny the show is next month.
Don't will be on ABC on June 11.
