Sakamoto Days has sold more than 7 million copies to date, which is a solid number considering the anime adaptation has only just started.

It is also worth noting that Shuesiha has already ordered a reprint of all manga volumes as they expect the sales to increase while the anime is ongoing. Sakamoto Days' anime adaptation was announced in May 2024. The anime aired its first episode on January 11, 2025.
