Summary
- Invest in varied properties for money laundering and product production to expand your drug empire.
- Consider budget and location when purchasing properties like the Car Wash or Bungalow.
- Choose properties strategically based on laundering amount, cost, and location to maximize profits in Schedule 1.
It's a busy life being the local drug lord. Between production, dealing, laundering, and networking, the protagonist of Schedule I has to find ways to make money along with laundering it, which means buying several properties to generate both revenue and product.
Schedule 1: How to Get the Bungalow
The location of the Bungalow in Schedule 1 is not the best, as it is located on the very outskirts of the city. Here's how to find it.
The player doesn't have to unlock Ray's Realty by reaching a certain level or waiting for a call, but it is something that Uncle Nelson will remind the main character about after they start generating a certain amount of money. Each property at Ray's Reality has its pros and cons, and becomes progressively more expensive, and a successful kingpin will eventually own them all. Visit Ray's Realty on the edge of Downtown to buy either a Business for laundering or a Property for production, employees, and sleeping.
7 The Docks Warehouse
Large-Scale Investment For Advanced Businesses
- Buying Price: $50,000
- Employee Limit: 10
The Docks Warehouse is the most expensive Property sold at Ray's Realty, and it has advantages, such as the central location and plenty of space. However, other locations are cheaper, more accessible, and can house just as many employees.
If players have the substantial chunk of change required to buy the Docks Warehouse anyway, they're likely in a financial position to burn through some money. Even if it's too early to fully staff the Warehouse, buying property is also a way to launder money in this game, which might be the primary motivation for buying this location at first.
6 The Post Office
Decent Laundering For An Economical Price
- Buying Price: $10,000
- Laundering Amount: $4000
The Post Office costs more than twice as much as the next cheapest property, which is the Laundromat, but can only clean double the amount. It's not really worth the trade-off, but it's nice to have a convenient location Downtown, which comes in handy later as the region opens up and the client list grows.
How to Get More Inventory Space in Schedule 1
Players can easily find themselves drowning in items in Schedule 1, so here are a few methods to increase their inventory size.
Players might want to buy either the Laundromat or The Post Office at first, but choose wait until they have more free cash to buy them both. However, it's better to invest in something cheaper at first and expand to bigger businesses when there is more money to launder.
5 Taco Ticklers
Centrally Located In Northtown
- Buying Price: $50,000
- Laundering Amount: $8000
It's a big investment and not much return, but $8000 is the highest the game can go at this point, so the real money laundering power here is the initial purchase. Taco Ticklers is the most distinctive building in this region, and players will be using it as a landmark and dealing meet-up point when they first arrive in Hyland Point. The Hotel is only steps away, and clients often ask to meet behind the location or in the skatepark next door.
Other than its use as a money-laundering business, it's just satisfying to buy the property where the player might have made their first sale. This is where Street Rats can hook up with client Kyle Cooley when they first come to town, and selling to him is always easy thanks to his low standards.
4 The Car Wash
Central Location, Heavy Laundering
- Buying Price: $20,000
- Laundering Amount: $6000
Nestled on a busy corner between Downtown and Northtown, the Car Wash strikes a nice balance between laundering a nice chunk of change while not costing one. Taco Ticklers only launders a couple of thousand more a month and costs more than twice what this business goes for.
Schedule 1: The Best Mixing Ingredients, Ranked
For players looking to experiment with ingredients in Schedule 1, these are some of the best items to try.
It's well worth the investment, but the main character probably won't be able to afford even this modest business when first starting and will likely buy the Laundromat instead. For more ambitious players, however, it might be worth skipping the smaller businesses and going right for the Car Wash.
3 Laundromat
Small-Time Cleaning
- Buying Price: $4000
- Laundering Amount: $2000
Just when the handy ATM starts to get fussy about all the dirty cash the main character is depositing, they'll have enough to move up from rentals and buy their own business. The Laundromat is often the first business everyone buys because it's the cheapest choice, and it has a decent return only if the player considers that it's so economical to buy in the first place.
The greatest advantage to the Laundromat is the convenient central location between Northtown and Downtown. That makes it easy to get to the Motel and the Sweatshop from here, two of the most important locations in the game at this stage, especially for those who are still dealing in this neighborhood and want to stay close to their clients.
2 The Barn
- Buying Price: $25,000
- Employee Limit: 10
The Barn is half the price of the Warehouse and can accommodate the same number of employees, which makes it a better deal. When it's time to expand into bulk amounts, and it's a choice between this and the Docks Warehouse, players with a limited budget should invest in the Barn first.
Schedule 1: The Best Sweatshop Layouts, Ranked
There are a number of ways that Schedule 1 players can use the Sweatshop as they grow their business.
The location of the Barn in the far-flung corners of the Suburbian back forty is one major downside, but if the player has enough money to buy the Barn, they should have enough for a basic vehicle. This is one of the few Properties where a car is essential, but it's worth the effort.
1 Bungalow
- Buying Price: $6000
- Employee Limit: 5
The Bungalow is located on a quaint lakeside lot on the edge of Westville, and it's the best deal of any other property on this list. $6000 is pocket change for a mid-level dealer, even one who's still trying to organize a decent-sized grow, so this quaint single-level is highly recommended. It can also double as both a meth lab and a mid-size cannabis grow when the player unlocks harder drugs.
The Bungalow consists of three large rooms, so it's easy to divide into areas for cooking, living, and growing, which is yet another advantage. It's also one of the few Properties that players can fully equip without the use of a vehicle, provided they have some patience and take more than one trip.
