How to Unlock a Chemist in Schedule 1
Before you can hire assistants, you will have to make deals on the street until you reach Hustler V rank. Once you have done this, you will want to visit the Warehouse and chat with Manny. He helps players hire highly skilled workers for a small fee. So, to hire a Chemist in Schedule 1, you need to have $1,600 in cash. Also, Chemists work for $300 a day.
How to Use a Chemist
Like other workers in Schedule 1, Chemists will not do anything until they receive specific instructions. You need to take out your Clipboard by pressing the 9 key. Then, select a worker and assign a bed to them. In the same way, you need to assign stations where Chemists can work:
- Chemistry Stations
- Mixing Stations
- Lab Ovens
- Cauldrons
It is important to note that Chemists in Schedule 1 cannot drag resources to some stations. Thus, you will need Handlers to load the stations with the necessary items, after which the Chemists will finally get to work.

How to Get a Chemist Worker to Mix Multiple Mixers in Schedule 1
Mixing Stations are a great tool for creating unique and, most importantly, expensive products in Schedule 1. And if you want to achieve a higher income, you will want to mix one product several times. However, players should be prepared for the fact that it is quite difficult to automate. Luckily, we have made a suitable setup for this:
- First, hire a Chemist and a Handler.
- Then, buy up to 4 Mixers and more shelves.
- After placing the Mixers, take the Clipboard and interact with each of the stations in order to assign the destination to the next one. In the last one, the destination should be a shelf.
- Then, put separate shelves for mixing for each Mixer. Place only one type of resource on each of them, for example, an Energy Drink.
- Assigning the Handler to drag items from shelf 1 to Mixer 1, from shelf 2 to Mixer 2, etc.
- Finally, assign the Chemist to work on all Mixers to produce complex goods in Schedule 1.
There are several reasons why your Chemist does not work. One of the most common is a bug that is fixed by restarting the game. Another reason may be the unlocking of a new type of product since it will not move to its destination until you interact with it. Therefore, we recommend using the setup manually for the first time.
