It's no secret that SCUM is a complicated game. Even the smallest of mistakes can be costly, and if you die, you'll often have no choice but to kiss your progress goodbye. The brutality of the game's survival mechanics is part of its charm, but if you would rather spend a few hours learning how the game works, then using console commands in a singleplayer game might be the way to go.

Using console commands is a great way for new SCUM players to learn through failure without having to restart over and over again. Thankfully, the game's console is very user-friendly, and if you're looking for the best cheats and most useful admin commands, here's a guide to help you get started.

How to Enable Console Commands in SCUM

SCUM Spawn Item command

Console commands are enabled by default in singleplayer, and if you're the admin of a multiplayer server, you should be able to use them as well. Technically, there is no console — instead, you input commands via text chat (opened with T by default).

Open the chat window, then type '#'. The game will automatically show you a list of commands related to the text you typed in the chat box. If you want to explore the available console commands, try typing something into the text box to see if there are any commands that contain the terms you wrote.

Best Cheats and Admin Commands in SCUM

#SetGodMode

Enables several admin priviliges, like cost-free base building, auto-unlock containers, etc. Does not prevent death.

You can use the arrow keys to cycle between your previously-entered console commands.
