Sea of Thieves has recently launched on PlayStation, and this has caused a significant increase in player base. This multiplayer adventure game allows players to be the captain of their ship. Season 12 has also been released, bringing new changes to the game as well as weapons and items. These weapons and items change the gameplay remarkably and grant a lot of accessibility.

One of the new editions is the Horn of Fair Winds, a rare item. Pirates will have to explore the vast Sea and make their way to the different Shrines if they want to try out these Horns for themselves.

Where To Find Horn Of Fair Winds In Sea Of Thieves

Horn of Fair Winds is quite hard to find as it has a low rate of spawning. While venturing into the sea, you can dive underwater to find Shipwrecks. These Shipwrecks have a small chance of containing a Horn for you to use. Alternatively, you can also visit the multiple Siren shrines located in different areas of the map. Once at the shrine, try to find a Siren treasury, as there is a high chance of finding a horn there. If you do find one at a Shrine, you do not need to swim back up to the top as you can store the Horn at a nearby Statue and take it from a Merfolk near your ship above.

If you are playing in High Seas, be careful when stopping your ship on top of the Shrine and going underwater, as other Pirates might take advantage of this situation and sink your ship.

What Are The Uses Of Horn Of Fair Winds?

To use the Horn of the Fair Winds, you simply need to press the attack button, and your character will bring the Horn closer to the mouth and blow it. This causes a large gush of air to come out from the Horn, allowing you to do multiple things with it. Firstly, if you are underwater and want to cover the area quickly, you can use the Horn to float backward. This item's usage is based on charge, meaning that you can hold the attack button to keep using it.

The Horn can also be used to sail faster or while on a rowboat. When on a boat, simply head to the wheel and aim your Horns at the Sail. This will allow you to put an extra air gush towards the sail, making the boat go much faster. Everyone knows that rowboats can be quite slow to get from one place to another, but the Horn solves this issue. To do this, you will need to face the back of the Rowboat to make it go faster. Additionally, you can blow out fires with this item as well.

Horn of the Fair Winds has limited usage, and this is indicated by the glow on the item. The more you use it, the more the glow will start to fade away. If you fully deplete the Horn or are not planning on using it for yourself, you can sell it to any Trading Company for a small amount of Gold.
