Sea of Thieves is a multiplayer adventure that takes place in the sea. Players get to form guilds and sail on giant pirate ships, venturing to explore new islands or engaging in daunting combat at sea. Aside from completing voyages for the different Trading Companies and solving the puzzles in the Tall Tales, players will come across large beams of light coming from specific areas in the world. These lights represent the location of a shrine that is found underwater.
Shrines usually have a significant amount of treasure that is guarded by Sirens. There are multiple Journals hidden in these Siren Shrines that might need the player to solve a few puzzles before reaching them. Here's how to find all the journals in the Shrine of Flooded Embrace in Sea of Thieves.
Sea Of Thieves: Best Weapons, Ranked
The combat in Sea of Thieves can seem simple, but it actually carries many nuances, and each weapon has a learning curve.
Where to Find the Shrine Of Flooded Embrace in Sea of Thieves
The Shrine of Flooded Embrace is located in the southwest of The Crooked Masts island. You can head to the location without any prerequisite, but it is important to note that if you have the Coral Message in a Bottle, you can get increased rewards from the Shrine. These bottles can be located on shipwrecks or on the shores of any island. Once you approach a shrine, you will see a beam of light going up towards the sky. The point where the light is touching the sea is where you need to dive in order to reach the Shrine.

Heading further down, you can see a glowing rock on the wall that you can shoot or attack with your weapon to open the water blockade and head inside. Inside the room, you can find ammunition, food, and on the right, the third journal on top of wooden debris. |

After collecting the fourth journal, turn back and look in the distance to spot a glowing blue coral right next to broken pieces of a ship. Here, you will find the final journal. |
After collecting all the Journals, you will unlock the "Mystery of Flooded Embrace" trophy/achievement and can explore the rest of the Shrine. One thing to note is that there are multiple Sirens throughout the area, and they can cause a lot of damage to you. Deal with them first to make collecting the treasure a much easier task.
If you are running out of air, you can go up into the room blocked by glowing stones or find a coral rock that has air bubbles coming out of it. Every treasure you pick up, you can store in statues located in different areas. Once you are done with the Shrine, interact with the Statue to head back to your Ship. Once on the ship, you can find Merfolk near you that will give you all the treasure you collected.
