Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance adds lots of new content for players to experience, no matter which Canon route they choose to take. One of these changes is the Demon Haunt, which centers around giving your individual demons more character and rewarding players for keeping them around.
The Demon Haunt acts as a safe area within the Netherworld where players can interact with their demons, give them gifts, and even split with Aogami to talk with him. Every demon in the game can utilize the demon haunt, giving players tons of rewards when used right.

How To Use The Demon Haunt In Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance
The Demon Haunt can be traveled to at any Leyline Fount and is a secluded area within the Netherworld where any currently summoned demons will gather. The bench straight ahead where the player spawns will always be the meeting place for Aogami, while any demons and guest characters will spawn in random locations each time. As this location is in the Netherworld, moving around here will cause the phases of the moon to change in Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance. Whenever the player has reached the relationship threshold of a demon, an exclamation mark will appear over their head.
The exclamation mark will stay near the demon's name in the party menu, with a prompt appearing on screen when it first appears. Talking with a demon with an exclamation mark will either have them give the player a gift, or increase one of their stats. Aogami acts differently in that his conversations will only be available after major moments such as defeating the Hydra in Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance. Demons can continue to increase their relationship with the Nahobino after one conversation, rewarding players for keeping the same demons active for longer.

How To Give Gifts To Demons In Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance
A player's relationship with a demon will increase naturally as they battle enemies and explore new regions. Demons only need to be summoned and don't need to be directly in the players' party to get relationship points. While this process does happen naturally, it can be sped up by giving demons gifts. To do so, approach the demon you want to give a gift to in the Demon Haunt but don't talk to them.
Instead, select the Gift button along the bottom right corner of the screen to then decide which kind of Demon Box you want to give the demon. After the demon receives the gift, players will get a prompt indicating how far off that demon is from getting closer to the player. Demon Gift Boxes are found throughout the Netherworld but aren't incredibly common and should be used only on select demons.
