A keen-eyed fan of the Silent Hill 2 remake has noticed a creepy detail about Blue Creek Apartments that many seem to have not noticed. The find is just one of several tweaks and additions to the Blue Creek Apartments in Silent Hill 2 that have surprised, scared, and impressed players.

The Silent Hill 2 remake has turned out to be quite a successful one. Fans and critics have praised the game, and for the most part, it seems to be managing to please long-time fans of the survival horror title just as well as newcomers to the series. Even in the original, the Blue Creek Apartments have some important discoveries for the player, but one fan has spotted something through a window while looking at the building from the outside.

Reddit user Vestan_Pance shared a post with the Silent Hill community, spotting a creepy silhouette watching them from a window. Although the player only shared a pair of images, one can see that it doesn't appear to be an optical illusion, as the silhouette moves over time. It seems that this particular detail went unnoticed by many players, unsurprisingly, likely due to the overall poor lighting conditions and many likely keeping their eye on potential hazards on the streets of Silent Hill and not the inside of a building.

Players Respond to Silent Hill 2 Silhouette

Several fans of the game have commented that they didn't see this, though a few apparently did catch it. One player said that they tried shooting at the silhouette, but only succeeded in breaking the windowpane. Some wondered it if was supposed to be Mary or Maria watching the player, but it's too hard to tell. Chances are someone will eventually examine the area with camera hacks to see if there's actually someone up there, but for now, players are left to speculate.

Bloober Team has managed the difficult task of recreating what made the original Silent Hill 2 great while adding some new things, as well. This includes answering some morbid questions about Silent Hill 2, referencing important rooms from Silent Hill 4 as well as Silent Hill 2 in Blue Creek Apartments, and even referencing some of the original versions of things that changes were made to, like finding Maria's original Silent Hill 2 outfit while exploring with her in the remake. While there was a lot of worry and doubt surrounding the prospect of the remake ahead of its release, many fans have been so impressed that they're now calling for Bloober Team to remake more Silent Hill games.
