After James rows his boat for quite some time he will arrive at the Lakeview Hotel. Even though the place might look peaceful and calm compared to the other areas in the game, it still harbors numerous monsters roaming around the different floors.

This is the main puzzle of the Lakeview Hotel and requires a thorough exploration of the entire Hotel and solving multiple mind-boggling puzzles. There are three Figurines that you must collect to solve the puzzle.

Where To Find The Snow White Figurine

Players can get the Snow White Figurine by completing Room 202's Mirror Puzzle. Here is how to do that:

  1. Hop the window to get into the Cloakroom and then open the door to the Hall.
  2. Grab the Room 202 Key from the couch and Ripe Apple from the end of the Hall.
  3. Head to Room 202 and enter the bedroom to pick up the Mirror Shard.
  4. Interact with the Broken Mirror and place the pieces so that it fixes.
  5. Place the Ripe Apple on the plate, solving the puzzle.
  6. Pick up the Snow White Figurine from Room 201.

Players can also use Rotten Apple instead of the Ripe Apple, which is located on a bench on the right side, just before entering Lakeview Hotel.

Where To Find The Cinderella Figurine

The Cinderella Figurine is on the same path as many items needed to solve the Suitcase Puzzle in the Reading Room. Follow these steps to get the Figurine:

  1. Go to the Hall through the Cloakroom and enter the balcony.
  2. Exit the Nurse's Office and go up the staircase to Conference Room on 3F.
  3. Pick up Room 107 Key and head down to 1F.
  4. Enter Room 107 and enter the Garden area.
  5. Pick up the Fireplace Key from inside the Gazebo.
  6. Return to the Conference Room and open the Fireplace to get the Cinderella Figurine.

After acquiring the Cinderella Figurine, players must fight Silent Hil 2 Remake's Mandarin boss, who appears in a cutscene. Defeating it allows them to progress forward.

Where To Find The Little Mermaid Figurine

For the last Figurine, players must go to the Venus Tears Bar in the Employee Section of 1F. Reaching the bar involves solving the Gemstone Box Puzzle to open the Safe in the Break Room. Follow these steps to solve the puzzle and get the Figurine:

  1. Use the Employee Elevator Key to access the Employee Section. (You can get this Key by opening the Suitcase in the Reading Room)
  2. Enter the Kitchen through the Cafeteria to find the Green Gemstone.
  3. Pick up the Blue Gemstone from the fridge in the Freezer Room.
  4. Move the cupboard in the TV Room and squeeze through to find the Red Gemstone.
  5. Open the Gemstone Box by placing the Red Gemstone in the top right slot, the Green Gemstone in the top left slot, and the Blue Gemstone in the bottom left slot.
  6. Get the code "7414" and open the Safe in the Break Room.
  7. Take the Basement Key and head down.
  8. Enter the Maintenance Room and pick up the Pump Valve.
  9. Use the Pump Valve in the Boiler Room to find the Venus Tears Bar Key.
  10. Pick up the Pump Valve and use it in the Kitchen to enter the Venus Tears Bar.
  11. Grab the Little Mermaid Figurine on the floor near the Jukebox.

How To Solve The Music Box Puzzle In Silent Hill 2 Remake

With the three Figurines in your possession, head back to the Music Box in the Lobby and open it using the Ornamental Key. This will reveal three slots where you can put the Figurines and four plates to move. You have to rotate all the plates so that the lines match the Figurine and the exit way next to the plate. Once that is done, press the button on the bottom right to go to the next step of the puzzle. In this section, you must turn the keys in the correct order so that the Figurines can enter the small compartments. Here is how to solve it:

  • Turn the first Key 7 times.
  • Turn the second Key 5 times.
  • Turn the third Key one time.

After finishing the puzzle, you will get the 3F Corridor Key, which allows you to reach Room 312, where you can watch the Video Tape.
