After escaping the Labyrinth, James will row a boat to reach the Lakeview Hote l, where he intends to finally meet his wife, Mary. Finding The Ripe Apple and Room 202 Key
After acquiring the Sunrise Wing Key in Utility Room 1F, players interested in puzzles in Silent Hill games can open the double doors on the second floor of Lakeview Hotel. Head into the Cloakroom and open the Hall door, revealing a large room filled with mannequins. Be careful, as some Mannequin enemies are hiding and waiting to ambush you as you get close. Pick up Room 202's Key from the couch on your left and head to the end of the room to find a Ripe Apple.
Solving The Puzzle & What To Do After
Enter Room 202 using your Key to find a Broken Mirror and a plate beside it. Ignore this for a second and head to the bed in the back to find a broken mirror piece on the floor. Pick it up and interact with the mirror. You must now arrange all the broken pieces so that the mirror looks fixed. Put the Ripe Apple on the plate, and this solves the puzzle.
You can also use the Rotten Apple if you acquired it near the entrance of Lakeview Hotel.
After solving the puzzle, your work in this room is done. Head out and enter Room 201 to find the Snow White Figurine. This is a Key Item that you need to solve the Music Box Puzzle in the Lobby. After this, you can proceed to the west side of the second floor to head up the staircase to 3F.
